I payed the taxi driver and make a run for my bedroom trying my best not to bump into anyone. I didn't want to explain anyone why I was covered in blood and where I had been good part of the morning, not yet.

Luckily nobody stopped me and I manage to get inside undetected. I go to my room and immediately pop in the shower desperate to get the stickiness of the blood washed away from my body.

I linger a little bit under the hot spray, warming the cold that still lingers in my bones. When my fingers start to look like prunes I turn off the water and wrap my body in a towel. I clean the humidity from the mirror and look at my reflection in the mirror. I looked at the mirror and I only saw a scared girl, scared about the safety of her pack, scared about Elaine, would she make it trough? But most of all, I was scared I wasn't a good alpha to my people, if something like this where to happen to someone of my pack...I can't even think about it.

I dry off my body and put on a clean pair of clothes. Now that I was clean, I felt better confronting my father and try to get some answers out of him. School had already begun so there was no point in trying to go to classes, I wouldn't be able to focus anyway.

I go downstairs and grab an apple to eat. I check my phone as I ate and notice 8 miss calls from Cas and 3 from Nadia. They must be wondering where I am, but I ignore them for now. I needed all my attention on the conversation I was about to have with my father. I trow the core of the apple in the garbage and make my way to my father's office. He was there most hours of the day. I knock three times and await his answer, it came a few seconds later.

"Juliet? I thought you would be in school by now" he said when he saw it was me

"I never even made it there" I respond sitting in the chair in front of this desk

"And why is that? An alpha has to have a good education Juliet, you can't lack off on your studies." he reprehends me

"I'm not. There is a good reason why I didn't go to school this morning, in fact that is why I am here now" I stated

"And what is that reason?" he asks not very interested in what I was saying. His eyes never once lift from the papers in front of him.

"Luna morte filii" I say and I get the pleasure of having a reaction from him. His head immediately went up and he look at me with a look I didn't quite identified.

"Who told you those words?" he ask very serious.

"I don't know father, you tell me. Where do you know those words?" I ask instead

"This is no matter to joke about Juliet. Where did you hear those words?" he asks getting angry

"I found them on the body of a Montague girl after her body was dumped in front of her house earlier this morning" I admit

My father gets up and starts walking one side to another. For my father to be this agitated then it must be serious.

"What is it father? Where do you know this words?" I try once again, his attitude was leaving me worried

"The girl...is she alive?" he asks, at least he had stopped pacing around.

"Barely, I manage to get her to the hospital on time but she had silver injected in her veins and she had been shot" I informed him

"With a silver bullet I gather" he presumes

"Yes...that's right. You've seen this before?"

"No. Never" he responded but somehow I got the feeling he was hiding something.

"Father please, whoever did this to that girl won't stop with her. She had a note that said that she had been the first of many, and it's not just the Montague pack they are targeting but our pack as well." I tell him
