We held each other as the rain poured outside. The sound of it hitting the window was soothing in it's own way. But of course me being me had to ruin the peace by sneezing. I guess walking under the rain was not such a good idea, werewolf or not.

"You need a shower" Romeo says after I sneeze releasing me so he could get up

"Geez thanks" I say teasing him, if this had been any other situation a girl could think that he was saying she stinks.

"You know what I mean" he replies "Even werewolves can get colds"

"I know but you seem to forget that I don't have any clothes to change to" I remind him

That got him thinking for a minute, but he was quick to come up with a solution. Slowly he starts taking off his shirt revealing his very defined torso.

"Is your solution joining me in the shower?" I ask him trying my hardest not to blush at the mental picture.

He smiles and throws his shit to me "It's for you to put on, after your shower. Although if you want me to join you then all you had to do is ask" he says this time teasing me

"That's okay" I say walking to the bathroom, before I close the door I turn to him and say "I'll take a rain check on that one"

I'm smiling as I start the water. I take my clothes off as the water warms up, astonished at the modifications Romeo had made to the place. Sure the shower wasn't big or modern but it was enough to take a shower on and that is all that matters.

I moan as I feel the hot water hit my skin. I hadn't realized how cold I was before. I had been so warm in Romeo's arms that I hadn't felt the wet clothes clinging to my skin. What I had with Romeo was something that I never had before in my life, I have had boyfriends before but never one that meant has much, and never one that had gone pass second base. I just never had the time to spend with them because of my training to become alpha so we usually broke up before it went any further.

I wasn't embarrassed about it. I knew that Romeo had been with other girls before and honestly that didn't bother me. Until a few weeks ago I didn't believe in mates so there was no point in waiting for that someone special, as long as he doesn't sleep with anyone else while we're together, no matter it's duration, I am good with that.

I finish soaping my hair and I rinse it with water. We didn't have that much time left before my weeding, our fathers would be returning in four days and my weeding will be a month away when they do. My weeding... to a man I hadn't chose, a man that wasn't Romeo.

I clean the tears that had fallen but I quickly clean them away, I had done enough crying for today. Now was the time to love, to live my life the way I want to live it and not the way someone tells me to live it.

With my mind made up, I finish cleaning my body and exit the shower cleaning myself with the towel Romeo had left for me. My underwear was all wet but hating the idea of wearing the same panties after my shower, I rinse them in the water, cleaning them and leaving them to dry. I put on Romeo's shirt, thankfully he was slightly taller than me and he had a bigger torso, so the shirt was big enough to cover all the important parts.

I exit the bathroom, my hair even if no longer dripping was still wet, I couldn't find any hair dryer but I guess that would be asking too much. I made my way to the living room where I saw the firewood burning. Romeo must have started it so we wouldn't freeze. I put my wet clothes on a chair nearby so they could dry off, I was doing that when I hear Romeo whistle from behind me.
