The hat sings a (hopefully not) prophesy

The carridges didn't take to long, thankfully. When Harry's carriage came, (It was the 7th), he asked where I went. I said that I had gone in another carriage, and it ended up being first.

I was just imagining Percy and Annabeth coming here- Annabeth asking for the plans for the castle, and Percy swimming in the lake, and yelling at me to come in. Yeah. they would love it here. I shook my head, and looked at Harry.

"What now?" I ask.

He stares at me like I'm an idiot. "The feast, of course!"

I nod, and follow the swarm of robes to the entrance, into a hallway, and through the ginormous double doors, and into a huge hall.

The great hall was beautiful, timeless. The walls were carved so intricately, and the tables were very grand. A tall, gold phoenix statue stood on a platform where the teachers were sitting. The roof looked like the nights sky. I let out a tiny gasp.

Ron grinned.  "Nice, isn't it."

I nod, and follow him to a table.

Neville frowns at me from across the table. "Nico, are you a Gryffindor?

"Ugh," I start, and then my necklace explains what a Gryffindor is. "No."

He frowned, and then turned to Albus, who was sitting at the staff table. I then realized he wasn't looking at him. He was looking at a middle aged woman near him. The woman was dressed all in pink- pink dress, pink cardigan, everything. She had short, heavily curled hair, and her face- well, enough said about that, the better.

I heard Harry gasp. "She was at my hearing!"

I frowned. The hearing was run by the ministry- so she must be a ministry woman, prying into Hogwarts. Albus had said that the Ministry of Magic was trying to take over the school. So she was like a spy, a test.

Suddenly, the great hall doors open, and the giant was leading the younger kids, (who all looked quite bewildered) towards the staff table. They were lined up, and I heard Hermione whisper something like 'the sorting'. They were standing in front of an old stool, and a very old hat.

Suddenly, the hat's bring widened, revealing what looked like a face. It burst into song.

My day is getting weirder and weirder by the second.

In times of old when I was new

And Hogwarts barely started

The founder's of our noble school

Thought never to be parted:

United by a common goal,

They had the selfsame yearning

To make the worlds best magic school

And pass along their learning.

"Together we will build and teach!"

The four good friends decided

And never did they dream that they

Might some day be divided

For where there such friends anywhere

As Slytherin and Gryffindor?

Unless it was the second pair

Of Hufflepuff and Ravenclaw?

So how could it have gone so wrong?

How could such friendships fail?
