Accidental Avatar 3: Totally Lit

Suddenly, More Drama

We got back to the ship pretty late. Well, an hour or so after everyone else. Jin dragged me out therapy shopping before dinner with Muteki. I ended up just getting a bowl of ramen, a bread roll, and a fried egg. It had been ages since I had a Noodle Sandwich. Used to be my favourite. Muteki had one with me and what looked like a deep-fried fish on a stick. He said it tasted like biltong... whatever that is... it smelled like beef jerky to me.

Anyhow, Jin was walking up the gangplank as Hakoda popped his head over the side.

"Aang's gone!" he shouted. "We're lifting anchor as soon as you are on board!"

Mangetsus' head popped over the side too. "I suggested leaving earlier, but the others didn't like the idea."

"Come on, Mog," Muteki called. "You're making us late!"

"And you're an ass," I groaned from the bottom of the ramp.

"I get the distinct impression you're embarrassed by me," Muteki said as he reached the top of the gangplank.

"Muteki..." I warned. 

Jin looked sideways at me.

"I'm gonna go with, no," he grinned as I reached halfway up.

"This is important, and I don't need you causing another scene!" I shouted at the other guy, a grin plastered on my face.

"I don't have to take this," he grinned back. "I'm going for a walk!"

"Oh no, you're not!" Jin threatened to smack him. "You're staying right here, on this ship."

"What you gonna do?" I asked as I kept walking up. "Grab that guy who can stop him? Oh, what's his name... Michael McDoesntExist?"

"Good to have you back with us," Muteki slapped my back as I stepped onto the deck.

"Lift Anchor, Toph!" Hakoda shouted

Toph cracked almost every joint she had and got to work metalbending a crank. It wasn't even ten minutes before we were out of the harbour and powering West. The waves were choppy as heck, and the wind had picked up as the sun had set. Luckily we didn't have to endure the bucking boat too long as Jin suggested we follow the air nomad on Appa.
