A/N: This will probably be the last one this week because it was another short chapter. The next one might take a while, so don't read too fast!
"Sokka," I called out to the boy, who was preparing to make his way to the castle, the rest heading back to our campsite.
Except for Mangetsu. He was with me. Muteki and I agreed that for the time being, Mogui and Mangetsu needed to be separated.
And, well, Sokka was going to be away from the rest of us long enough that maybe we could get Mogui's head back on straight. Or I could knock it off for him.
"Is something wrong?" he asked, giving me a quizzical look.
"I know this is kinda supposed to be your thing, but do you think you could take Mangetsu with you?"
"Wait, what?" Mangetsu blinked. "Why?"
"You know why," I gave him a look. "Look, Mangetsu, you don't even need to ask Piandao to teach you the way of the sword or whatever; just go with Sokka."
"Ah, looks like you're on babysitting duty, Sokka," Mangetsu said dryly.
"At least it's just you," Sokka joked back. "Mogui can be... explosive... when he's short-tempered."
Mangetsu gave him a look, and I snorted.
"Exploding water?" I reminded Sokka.
"You know, I was trying to forget about that," Sokka sighed. "Well, if you get bored, you can always just meditate, right?"
"There you go," Mangetsu said airily. "My day is set; let's go find you a Master, Sokka."
"Woo!" Sokka said with slight enthusiasm.
I watched them leave and sighed to myself.
"Now to deal with the other one."
