I rammed my shoulder into the stubborn brick of a boulder. It hurt. But it was moving slowly up the hill towards the awesome castle. Muteki and Toph were using their bending to help heave the beast of a boulder up the hill. Jin and Katara were acting as cheerleaders, barely touching the meteor while Sokka, Aang, Mangetsu, and I really put our backs into it. I'm not as athletic as the rest of those guys, and by the time we got to a place we could rest, my arms, back, and legs were dead.

"How much further?" I asked.

"Dude," Muteki raised an eyebrow. "We are at his front door."

"Okay," I slumped down. "Don't mind me; I'm just dying!"

Sokka banged on the two giant doors while Mangetsu leaned against the meteor-like a cool kid. Some old guy with an awesome, salt-and-pepper goatee and ponytail opened the portal and raised an eyebrow.

"Who is this?" the old man asked.

"No," I corrected. "Who are these..."

"These are my friends," Sokka stammered.

"From the colonies," Muteki interrupted the boy, then bowed. "A pleasure to meet a world-renowned master."

"Indeed."

"Do you think we can make swords from this meteorite?" Sokka asked.

"We did just push it all the way up here just for that," Mangetsu whined. "And you only think of asking that now?"

My eye twitched. Not sure if it was Mangetsu's whining or Sokka's question. Progress 🙃

The old man laid a hand on the giant stone ball.

"We will make a sword unlike any other in the world," he smiled.
