A/N: in honour of my (AmayaDisapproves) birthday, y'all get another chapter earlier than you were gonna get it. Enjoy~

After my wee chat with Jin, I was feeling particularly nasty. I knew what was right, but I did not want to do it.

"I haven't felt this awful since last Friday," I murmured to myself.

So I went back to the weapons shop. I hoped to work through some of my frustrations on a practice dummy.

"You can't practice in here," the owner stated. "I'm not just going to let you damage my stock. I've got a living to make."

"Then, can I at least use your courtyard for my practice?" I asked. "I'll use all my own stuff."

"You mean the public courtyard, belonging to the public?" the shopkeeper gave me an unimpressed look. "Sure, knock yourself out. If you want the guards to throw you in a cell for public disruption."

I groaned, running a hand over my face. It seems to be a continuation of the crappy day.

I ended up leaving the village and heading back to where we stashed Appa. I even grabbed a Muteki on my way past. It was a long walk, but it meant I could clear some of my headspaces, even with Muteki trying to conversate with me. By the time we got to Appa, I was less angry and more frustrated. So I threw a fireball into the sky.

"So..." Muteki asked.

"I want to train," I replied.

"You actually want to do something now?"

"Well," I started. "Training is an opportunity to focus my energy, with relentless optimism, at something I am good at, or getting better at and I enjoy doing. In other words, training is the direct emotional opposite of depression."

"Good call," Muteki grinned, taking a stance. "So, we are sparring."

"No. I want to do target practice."

"Then why did you bring me out here?"

"I need targets."

"You want me to bend you targets to hit?"

"I mean, if you can also throw rocks the size of my head, that would be impressive," I shrugged.

"Can I launch them at you?"

"I'm not feeling particularly self-destructive today."

Muteki raised a series of targets at varying distances. Some stupidly close, and some so far away, no normal fire could ever hope to reach them. So, it was a good thing my fire is never normal. I could feel the traces of iron in the ground around me, meaning there would be iron in the targets I was blasting at.

Two fingers pointed. Slowly arcing around my body as my chi moved with the energy. Down one arm, through the stomach and out the other and... ZAP! My first bolt of pure lightning. No sparking fire. No blazing fury. Just a simple Zap. It missed the furthest one by a mile, but it bounced through several closer targets, causing them to explode.

"Mogui happy now," I grinned. Then I shot more lightning. It looked so cool.
