Aang tied his headband around his eyes, standing in the middle of everyone else. Toph and Katara glared at each other from across the circle.

"Okay," Aang grinned. "I'm ready for some training!"

He dropped into a fighting stance using Toph-Vision to see through the earth.

Muteki sent a fissure rippling through the ground, and the avatar dodged out of its way. Toph lifted some columns, which the boy ducked around with ease. Next was Katara and Mangetsu. They lashed out with their water, creating whips and waves, which were easily dealt with. Next, the firebenders launched their attacks. Jin shot directly for the boy, who sidestepped the attack just as Mogui swiped an arc of fire across him. Aang blasted air, dispelling the flame before retaliating. Water blasts hit Katara, Jin, and Muteki while he flung a boulder each at Toph and Mogui. The girl caught her boulder while the man launched himself into the air on a pillar of fire.

"Missed me," Mangetsu said, whipping out with his water again.

Aang deflected the water and blasted the squirt with a wind tunnel.

"Good job, Twinkle-toes," Toph grinned, still holding the boulder. "Visualise, then attack!" she launched Aang's boulder back at him.

Twinkle-toes drilled himself into the dirt, allowing the boulder to fly over him directly at Katara.

Suddenly a wild Mogui appeared. The rock exploded on his back, pushing him into Katara and knocking them both down.

"Maybe you should take your own advice, Toph," Katara spat angrily as Mogui struggled to help her to her feet.

"What's the matter?" Toph teased. "Can't handle some dirt, Madame Fussy Britches?"

"Be honest with me," Mogui groaned, cracking his back. "Is there any blood?"

"You're fine," Jin slapped his back.

Meanwhile, Katara had launched a wave at her rival.

"I'm sorry," Katara growled. "Did I splash you? Mud slug."

"Oi!" Muteki took offence. "Toph is lovely!"

"Stay out of this, you giant hairy Lummox!" Mogui warned.

"Don't call me a Lummox!" Muteki growled.

"You do realize this woman has nasty little thugs like you for breakfast, I hope?" Mogui said.

"ONLY," Jin raised a finger. "When we're out of pancakes."

Mogui raised his fists, ready for a fight.

"Sneak Attack!" Sokka yelled, running at Aang.

He was dispatched with ease.

"Sokka," Aang sighed, taking off his blindfold. "Sneak attacks don't work if you yell them out loud."

"Like this," Mogui snapped his fingers, igniting a huge ball of fire.

He pushed it towards Toph with small movements of his hand. The little girl didn't even seem aware, but Muteki jumped in front of her. Mogui dissipated the fire before it reached his friend, who then went on the offensive. The boys were brawling, and soon the girls had joined in the muddy battle.

"Hungry for a mud pie?" Toph asked as she kicked mud into Katara's face.

"I'll give you a mud pie," Katara mudbent the other girl to the ground, pinning her.

Meanwhile, Muteki bull charged Mogui, tossing him like a ragdoll and trampling him underfoot. Mogui wrapped himself around a leg, tripping the giant and sending him sprawling. Their ground fighting and grappling was dirty and would have gotten them both kicked out of any self-respecting MMA ring.

"Everyone quit it!" Jin snapped, grabbing the two boys by their ears.

"I thought we were supposed to be training me?!" Aang almost complained.

"Very well, pupil," Katara reined in her fury. "I believe we've had enough training for today."

"But this isn't over," Mogui growled at Muteki. "Oww!"

Jin twisted his ear again.

"Now go clean yourselves up," she demanded. "I need help making dinner."

"Yes, dear," Muteki grumbled. "Oww!"

She twisted his ear again too. "Don't 'Yes dear' me!"

Mangetsu, Sokka, and Aang all shared a look and sighed deeply.
