And comment on here too. At this point, its the only way this book gonna be updated on a regular basis.

August

“What you mean wants in?” Jay spoke.

“I know its been Mr. August sir and like I told him, Amaiya is my girl and she gonna be my wife one day.”

“That don't mean you have to get involved.”

“From the day she told me, I’ve been involved emotionally. I had to deal with her moments. I was the one who held her when she randomly broke down or when she jumped outta ha sleep at night scared.”

“Wait? What you doing sleeping with her?” We all stepped to him.

“Uh, um. The point is, I was thea. I made her feel safe and I’ve always told myself if I got the chance I would do something.”

Standing there, we all just looked at Jaire. Inside, I didn't want him to get caught up in this but at the same time I knew he wasn't going to take no.

“Aug?” Travis called me.

“Man, Ion know.” I shook my head.

“If y'all don't let me in, I’m gonna tell Amaiya.” He smirked.

“Nigga.” We cut our eyes at him.

“And ya know she gon tell y'all wives.”

“Clearly you want us to beat you like we yo daddy.” Jay stared at him.

“All the more reason for Amaiya to come for yall.” He smirked.

“Don’t none of us here fraid our wives.” Travis folded his arms.

“Nah nigga, speak for yourself. Drica like a lah chihuahua man. She gonna be in my ear fa days.” Smoke shook his head.

“And Jay, we know Cha.” Torey laughed.

“For real.” He sighed

“Man.” I shook my head. “Fine. Just keep it quiet.” I gave in.

“Thanks.” He me smirked.

“Just for that, we’on like yo ass no more.” Jay mumbled.

“All that matters is my girl liking me.” He shrugged as we all laughed.

Filling him in on everything I assigned him his part to play before he left due to Noonie calling him.

“See why we say that lah boy is you.” Travis joked as they laughed.

“Man.” I sucked my teeth. “Get out of my house.”

“Nigga this our momma house and we staying hea, fuck you talking bout.” Smoke said.

Making their way to the kitchen, I went upstairs to check on Misty.

“Sweet face, ya want anything?”
