Just so we're clear, I made some adjustments to chapter 18 I believe so that it would flow in place with some other things to be revealed where Jayda is concerned.

"Hey Jay, wait up!"

Looking behind me, I stopped in my tracks when I seen Monica briskly walking towards me.

"Damn girl, where you going in such a rush?" She huffed.

"I have AP Chem to get too for an important lab, what's up?"

"But its lunch." She looked at me crazy.

"I know." I nodded. "So whats up?"

"Well I'll try not to keep you then."

"Mhmm."

"You think you can help me with this literature assignment. Its kicking my ass."

"Let me see."

As she went into her bag, I looked at my phone to see the time. I really wanted go do this lab.

"Here?"

Taking the paper, I looked it over and smiled.

"You have any free periods today? My last two are free."

"Ok cool, my final one is free."

"Meet me in the library by the windows then." I handed her back the paper.

"Thanks."

"Mhmm." I nodded.

As I turned, ready to walk off, LJ came walking up the hall with his arm around this girl name Piper shoulder.

"I take it y'all still broken up." I heard Monica behind me.

"Don't care." I shook it off and turned back to her. "Last period. Be on time because I gotta leave as soon as school is over."

I had promised Mrs. Sarah that I was gonna work some extra hours to make up for not showing up the few days and I meant it.

"Got it!" She shouted as I walked off.

Heading to my Chem class, LJ was posted up by Piper's locker, telling her God alone knows what as she laughed looking dumb.

Glancing at them, me and her made eye contact and she gave me a stank face. Rolling my eyes I just kept walking.

"Is there a problem?" I heard her yell.

"Not today Satan... Not today!" I spoke to myself as I kept walking.

Piper always had a problem with me because I was with LJ. We used to cheer together and even then she had issues.

"I thought so!" She said to me.

Not even caring to look back I just raised my hand and showed her middle finger, knowing that she saw.

"Hi Mr. Donald, thanks again so much for letting me do this." I smiled as I walked in the class.

"You're welcome and its no problem. I'm just shocked that you want to do this lab so early. Plus not much students willingly give up their lunch for school work."

"I have a lot on my plate right now so I'm trying my best to get everything I can out of the way." I spoke as I organized. "And I ate already."

"I understand that but this is your final lab you are attempting here Jayda. We haven't reached this far into the syllabus as yet."
