It's been a few weeks since Riley joined the Intelligence Unit. Things have been moving quite well, with no bumps. Riley had grabbed her bag to head out to get lunch when she entered the debriefing room where all the officers desks are at.

As she passed through she glanced into Voight's office noticing a familiar ginger in there with Jay and Erin. Riley paused by Adam's desk and Kevin Atwater's desk.

"So uh- who is the guy in scrubs?" Riley asks as she adjusts her bag on her shoulder.

Kevin looks at Riley, "Who Halstead's little brother?"

"Halstead's brother?" Riley spoke.

Adam nods, "Yeah. Doctor Will Halstead at Chicago Med." He said.

Riley studied the two, "I don't see it."

Antonio sat at his desk just smirking at the conversation between the three, that is when the door opened. Hank noticed Riley by the desks of his officers.

"Going for lunch, Sergeant. Will be back." She said.

Voight said nothing but returned to his office. Erin and Jay were saying goodbye to Will as he was heading out with Riley, but not together.

"So you work with my brother," Will said as they made it to the main floor.

Riley closed the gate behind them as she walked down the stairs to be on the same level as Will, "Jay is your brother." She returned by adding.

Will looks at her, "Yeah."

Riley then reaches for her keys, "Well I'm going to get some lunch so-,"

"Well I don't have to start my shift for a few hours. Care if I join you for lunch?" Will asks.

Riley looks at him, "Sure, why not." She said.

Riley and Will walked down the steps to exit the district. Will was motioned to Riley's car. It was a nice 2004 Toyota Camry, silver.

"I'll drive," She said to him.

When Will and Riley climbed into her car, Will noticed how neat it was. However, CD's were all over her car. Some on CD's cases on the floor and some in the back. As Riley began driving, Will was looking at some CD's.

"Boston," Will spoke reading the CD case.

Riley glanced at Will as she drove, "I like variety of music," She said.

Will chuckles, "I can tell. Grateful Dead?"

Riley smirks, "It was five dollars."

Will and Riley were eating at a small diner. Riley and Will talked as they ate their food, but what they talked about wasn't about each other just random things.

"Alright, can I ask you something?" Will asks.

"Didn't you already did?" Riley pointed out.

"True," Will said, "But how did you end up in Intelligence?"

Riley frowns slightly, "A second chance." She said.

Will nods, "I get it. I came back to Chicago from New York to try again, not just in life but with Jay." He said.

Riley looks at him after sipping on her coda, "You two aren't close?"

"Well now we are," Will smiles, "We weren't always close. You know how family is." He said.

Riley nods, "Yeah. It can be too much." She said.

Within a few seconds, there was loud gun shots. Breaking the glass at the diner. Will quickly grabbed Riley and pulled her under the table. People screaming. Gun shots. Bullets hitting things and breaking them.
