(A/N: Originally Riley's age was twenty-three when the story started. And in past chapters I had said through character dialogue that a year as gone by, not initially a year Will and Riley have been engaged but at least a year they'd been a couple. So Riley's age is now twenty-five, I should've mentioned she turned twenty-four during the events before she became a cop. And I'm saying Will is twenty-nine, I am doing this based off the age of Nick Gehlfuss and subtracting five years since this episode takes place in season 4 of Chicago PD. -ICrzy)
Jay and Erin had arrived at the address and questioned the girlfriend. The girlfriend, Stacia, tells them it was Kimball who began carrying a gun. It was because he was being threatened. However, when Erin asked by who, Stacia had no idea.
Jay and Erin had no reason not to believe her. She seemed genuine. So the both tell her to just remain in town until the investigation is complete, just in case they need to come back with some followed up questions.
Now while this was going down, Burgees gets hit at the district in her car. The car that had hit her was the one Delano was suppose to be in. Knowing that Jay and Erin were nearby, the officer had called them for backup.
Though things went from bad to worst quickly. As soon as Delano sees them, he realizes they're cops and begins to fires his gun at them. Jay being Jay, chases after him, and while he calls for backup through his radio, he manages to shoot Delano. Injuring the suspect.
Although, Delano wasn't the only one shot. Simultaneously, Erin is putting pressure on the wound of an innocent bystander who was shot in the crossfire by Delano. Erin kept putting pressure on the wound as she waited for paramedics.
But, unlike the the suspect, Delano doesn't make it.

Riley, Ruzek, and Burgess were watching a recorded video from one of the victim's cell phones. They see a guy leaving, only seconds before the warehouse then explodes.
"That guy was leaving fast." Ruzek mutters and he backs up the footage.
Riley leans closer to Ruzek's desk, where Burgess and her were crowded around watching the video.
"Wait, wait. Stop." Riley says as her eyes are fixed on the display, "Now, zoom in."
Ruzek does as he is told. Zooming in and get a closer look at the guy. Well a better look at his back. It wasn't much.
"That's our killer," Riley says.
"Looks like it," Burgess says.
Adam nods, "Think you could clear it up with you magic?"
Riley shakes her head, "It looks as good as we're gonna get. No miracles today." She says.

"So based on the proximity of the suspect to the stairs which we measured at the warehouse he should be about 5'9, figure 150 pounds." Riley says as she pins the picture onto the blacboard.
Eyeing the photo, Hank furrows his brows.
"And how tall is Delano?" Hank asks.
"Delano was a little over six feet," Atwater answer.
Then Kim's phone suddenly starts to ring. Kim answers the phone.
"Hey, guys," Kim looks up from her phone and exhales, "Um, so there's gonna be a candle light vigil tonight at the warehouse. At 8:00."
Platt walks into the room. She puts a diagram of the warehouse onto the table. And the others gather around it to look at it.
"So the block the warehouse is on. Strings signify security cameras from private companies and what angles they access." Platt says.
