Riley had her eyes locked on Will, then shifted when she heard the knob on the door click. Opening the door was none other than Jesus. He had a smile on his face, and a gun in his hand. A small pistol.
"My, my. The lady of honor is awake." He said as he walks over.
Riley glares, "What do you want?"
"To get my debt repaid from your daddy," He said, "And to help motivate you to do the right thing, I decided to bring your boy toy here in."
Riley glanced from Jesus to Will. Will's eyes were a bit wide as he was shocked hearing all of this. Jesus walked over to Riley and knelt down in front of her.
"So where is the money?" Jesus asks.
Riley looks at him confused like, "What money?"
"Your father had money," Jesus said, "He had my money hiding away. Where is it? I am not going to ask nicely again."
"I don't know what you're talking about," Riley said.
Jesus stands up, "Fine. We'll play it that way."
Jesus motions to two guys outside the room. They came in and quickly grabbed Will and lifted him up from the floor.
"Wa- Wait! Don't hurt him! I don't know anything!" Riley screams.
Jesus turns to Riley, "If only that were true."
Jesus then heads to Will. He made his hands into fists and punched Will repeatedly in the stomach. After a few good blows, Jesus nods at his men. Who just drop Will down onto the ground. Jesus turns to Riley, she had tears in her eyes.
"I'll let you think about your next answer," Jesus said and then ripped off the tape from Will's mouth.
Riley and Will looked at each other. Tears sliding down Riley's face and Will panting from the pain of his abuse. Jesus left the room, leaving the two alone in this abandon room.
"Who- Who is that?" Will winced.
Riley looks at him, "Jesus Gomez," She felt suddenly nervous about telling Will this, "He's a really bad man."
Will looks at her, "And how do you know him? Is he some gang member Jay and the others are after?"
Riley shakes her head, "No. My dad worked for him back in the day, and owes a lot of money to him." She said.
Will adjusted himself to lean against the faded wall in the room, "So he's using you to collect on your dad's debt?"
She nods.
"And I am here to make sure you do as your told." He said.
She nods, "Will, I am so sorry." She said with tears still sliding down her face.
Will looks at her, "It's not your fault. I'm not mad."
Riley looks at him, "But you shouldn't be here." She said.
Will looks at her and he adjusts slightly against the wall, "Yeah well that's in the past. I'm here now so, we need to figure out what we're going to do."
She nods, "Yeah, we need to get out of here." She said.
-CHICAGOPD-
"Spoke to Will's coworkers," Kevin Atwater said, "They said he arrived normal time and left an hour later due to a busy night."
The entire Intelligence Unit was on this case. The board had images of the shootout from street cameras. As well as images of Jesus Gomez and a few of his known gang members. There was some writing about connection to Riley, as well as the images from Riley's phone sent from Will's phone.
