The following day, Riley arrived at Firehouse 51. She was told by Trudy that her husband's firehouse was having issues with their computers and WIFI, so she was "volunteered" to fix it.
As Riley approached the building, she saw men doing drills outside. She watched them as she walked closer to the building. That is when a familiar face greeted her.
"Riley," It was Gabby's husband, Matt Casey, "We've been expecting you."
Riley smiles at him, "Sorry I ran a little late."
He shakes his head, "You're fine." He said.
Riley turns her attention to the group doing drills, "So uh- what's going on there?"
Matt looks at the group, "Oh that's just squad running drills." He said.
Riley nods looking at each of the men running the drills led by their lieutenant. Matt placed a hand on her shoulder and motioned her to he door that lead inside the building.
"This way," He said.
Riley follows the man inside. As she sees more and more familiar faces as she walked further and further into the building. When she heard the chief's office, she was Chief Wallace Boden greet her.
"Riley Schmidt." Wallace said.
Riley is offered to shake his hand, which she responded by shaking his hand politely.
"Chief," Riley said.
Boden points out the computers at the secretaries' desks. Sitting at one was a well known secretary who had sassy to kill.
"Connie, will be available if you need anything while you help us out." Boden said.
Riley nods, "So where do you want me?" She asks.
Boden motions to those desks, "Right here."
"Firehouse 51! Truck 81! Ambulance 51! House fire at 4483 Jefferson Ave!" The alarm said over the speakers.
Riley placed her stuff down and watched Matt Casey take off with Boden right behind him. Riley watched a lot of the men run out from the view she had and then felt a nudge by none other than Connie.
"Those computers aren't going to fix themselves," Connie said.

Kelly Severide had entered the building from where the trucks were parked at. He walked to see if he had gotten any mail from Connie, upon entering the secretary area he noticed Riley.
The young twenty-four year was so into the screen in front of her she didn't even notice Kelly, well that and the fact she had headphones over her ears. Kelly smirks looking at her as he walked over to her.
He pulled one of the headphone off her ear, "What are you even listening to?" He asks.
Riley jumped, "Jeez! Give a girl a heart attack."
Kelly snickers as he sits down int he seat next to her, "Sorry but you didn't answer my question." He said.
Riley looks from her phone with all her music playing, "Motown." She said.
Kelly looks at her a bit confused, "Motown? Like old music from the 50s?"
Riley grins, "Yeah I've been told my music taste is weird." She said.
Kelly shakes his head, "Nah, if its something you like embrace it." He said.
Riley pauses her music and then takes her headphones off, "Well I have officially finished the issues with the computers and WIFI." She placed her stuff in her bag.
