(Okay this isn't how the epsiode 3x01 (Life is Fluid) went because Erin left due to what happened with Nadia, but in my series Nadia had died but Erin dealt with it normally and with the death of these officers set Erin back by making herself swallow in drinking and drugs. Believing it's her fault the officers are dead and it brings back all the feelings with Nadia died. -ICrzy)
It has been a few weeks since the operation that sent Erin at home with her mother. From what Riley gathered from everyone at work, Erin's mom wasn't the greatest mom. Though, Riley doesn't remember much about her mom since she bailed on her when she was young, so maybe Erin's mom isn't as bad as they say she is.
Antonio comes in and places a photo on the board, "Benji Keyes is the brother to Derek Keyes. From one of my CI's told me a lot about the brother."
"Derek Keyes," Voight said, "Chicago's most wanted."
Riley pulled out a tablet, "Want me to get Benji's address?"
Voight nods.
As Riley typed in her tablet, she noticed that Erin's desk was empty and Jay was looking at it with worry.
"Voight," Jay walks next to his boss, "What do we do about Erin?"
Voight frowns, "She's doing what she wants to do. Leave it be."
Riley then got it, "Got it. I'll send them to you now."
Voight nods, "We can't do this normally. We go in black." He said.
As the others left to go prep, Voight motioned for Riley to follow him into his office. She came in behind hugging the tablet on her chest as she shut the door behind her.
"Yes?" Riley asks.
"How is therapy?" He asks.
Riley smirks, "It's therapy, you know."
He looks at her as he sits down, "Don't be cute with me." He said.
Riley shrugs, "I don't know. I guess I feel a lot better getting a lot of this crap off my chest." She said.
Voight nods, "Alright. I just want to make sure my people aren't falling apart." He said.
Riley looks at him, "Like Erin?" She asks.
Voight made no attempt to correct her. Riley watched as Voight sighed and then stood up.
"I want you in one of the SUVs on this op." He said.
Riley seemed confused, "Wh- Why?"
"I want you to have eyes everywhere in case something goes wrong," He said.
Riley felt a bit tensed, "You know I'm not a cop, I'm a civilian." She said.
Voight nods, "I know, but if you need protection," Voight hands Riley a small pistol, "I'd want it back after we come back."
Riley takes the gun, "Of course."

Riley was in the backseat of the SUV Atwater and Ruzek was in, and that even included Jay. Riley had cameras of the street on her tablet, and a walkie-talkie to communicate with the entire team.
When they pulled up Jay turns to her, "Stay put." He said.
Riley nods, "I will."
She watched as the team of trained officers head off dressed in black and not identified as police. The second they were no longer in her sight, she turned her attention to her surroundings and her tablet. Nothing seemed out of the ordinary which was good.
