"A package arrived for Erin Lindsey," Sergeant Platt said to Hank Voight and his unit.
Erin was off to the side with Jay, he was checking on her to see how she was doing through all of this. Riley stood against the wall leading into Voight's office.
"The women who delivered the packages was a homeless women, she IDed Yates as the one who paid her to drop it off." Trudy said.
The squad look at the box.
"It's a big box," Antonio said.
"Alright, get out of the building," Voight said, "Call the bomb squad."
Trudy nods and heads downstairs yelling, "Everyone out of the building now!"
"Let's go," Voight said.
Everyone was being evaluated out of the building, Riley still grabbed her laptop with. As everyone was being evaluated, the bomb squad showed up. They all headed upstairs to check the box that was sent for Erin. However, after a while, they came over with the box.
"We x-rayed it," One of the bomb squad guys said, "It's not a bomb."
"Really," Adam said.
He nods to the entire unit, "Your people are safe, but you're gonna wanna check this out." He said.
Erin stepped over, "It's addressed to me." She said.
Jay looks at Erin, "Erin, don't."
She ignores him and opens the box. Inside revealed a hand. A hand from one of the victims of the murder the nurses done by Yates. Inside the hand was a piece of paper folded over. Erin unfolded the hand and grabbed the paper.
"Why don't you answer the pone when your mom calls?" Erin read aloud sounding confused.
Just then her phone rang, revealing her mom's name and image calling her. Erin looks at the phone with utter confusion as does the others.
"He knows she opened the box," Voight said.
"He's watching," Antonio said looking around.
"Fan out now! Go! Go! Go!" Voight yells.
Officers ran out to scout the area around for any activity of Yates. Riley placed her laptop down on the hood of a vehicle as she tried to locate where he might be.
Erin turns to the unit, "That means this morning it wasn't Bunny who called. It was Yates." She said.
"He must have spoofed you." Atwater said.
Riley frowns, "He called from his phone- ugh somehow he made it look like your mom's." She then looks up at Erin, "Just answer it."
"Detective Lindsey," Erin answered the video call.
On the screen revealed to have Yates with the women known as Nellie Carr. Riley was typing to try to triangulate his known location.
"Hey," Yates smiles, "You know Nellie Carr?"
Erin looks at the women being held against her will, "Yes but I am more curious on how you know her."
"Now Detective Lindsey, let's not get into that. Do you- are those dark circles under your eyes? Couldn't sleep?" He asks looking at her through the video call.
Erin smirks, "You've been keeping me busy. You have my attention now. What do you need?" She asks.
"What do I need? Hmm," Yates spoke.
Riley kept typing in numbers, glancing at the screen here and there. Voight was on the phone with Erin's phone carrier trying to get a sense on Yates location.
