Running through the halls of Chicago Med was Hank Voight. He got the call. He got the call from Will. Actually, Jay was the one who got the call.

Hank nearly collided with some nurses as he ran in the direction of where Will informed Jay that he'd be at. When Hank arrived to the waiting room for surgery, he noticed Will sitting down with two girls. Atwater and Ruzek would've been there, but Voight called them back to the district to help on the search for Clark Jackson.

Grace was snuggled up with Will, eyes closed. Lorelei was sitting close to Will as well, but also on her cellphone.

"Will," Hank said.

Will's gaze went from the floor to Hank, "Voight,"

The two girls look up to see Voight. They remembered him from the district. He nods at them, Grace shyly looked away and Lorelei just gave a small smile.

Hank pulls Will away from the girls, "What happened?"

Will rubs one hand over his face, "It seems like when Dr Rhodes first took her to surgery to stop the bleeding in the stab wounds, there was a small slit in one of her organs." He said, "It wasn't caught because of how small it was."

"And so it got bigger?" Hank asks.

Will sighs, "I'm assuming from her argument with her mom- she was moving a lot then she should've," He said, "I- I should've made them step out when the argument started."

Will was shaking his head. He was blaming himself for this happening. Hank looks at Will, he knew it wasn't his fault nor was it Connor's for not seeing it.

"You couldn't have known that would happen." Hank said, "So she's in surgery?"

Will nods, "Yeah. They needed to stop the internal bleeding." He said.

Hank frowns, "How long?"

Will looked at the watch on his wrist, "An hour."

Voight nods and then his phone rings, "Voight."

"Found Jackson,"  It was Alvin, "He's back at the district."

"Leave him to me," Hank said, "I want to have a word with him."

"Alright,"  Alvin said, "How is she?"

Hank frowns looking back at Will. Will moved back over to the girls, to anyone who doesn't know the young doctor, this would appear to be a father looking out for his girls, but this isn't Will's girls. Heck, these girls aren't even related to Will, and yet Will was doing anything to comfort them.

"Still in surgery." Hank said.

"Want me to send Jay and Erin to Med?"  Alvin asks.

"Instead, send them to the Wood resistance and see why the girl's parents aren't here for them during this time." Voight said and then hung up.

Voight turns back to Will and the girls. Voight walks over to them as he puts his phone back in his pants.

"Call me if there is any updates." Voight said.

Will nods, "You'll be the first call."

Erin and Jay arrived at the Wood household. Erin and Jay get out of Erin's car and begin to walk up to the door.

"I can't believe Nancy wouldn't come to the hospital for Riley," Erin said, "It pisses me off. What kind of mother does that?"

Jay frowns, "The same kind that leaves her underage daughters at the hospital without any legal guardians around," He sighs, "I'm just glad Will is there."
