It was a wonderful Saturday morning. Or should I say, afternoon. I finally got to catch up on my sleep after the lengthy week I had. I scrolled through my phone to read all of the texts from Cam, describing all that went down at the raging party her and Parker visited last night after our mini campfire.
Also, surprisingly Georgia has been texting me a lot lately. I'm not so sure how I feel about it because she practically went from hating me to being strangely nice. Jacob really rubbed off on her. She says things are actually going well with him and it turns out they both have a lot in common in the romance department.
Sebastian has been backing off a little, which is also fantastic.
I'm just glad things are falling into place and my summer is going swimmingly.
I lazily roll out of my cozy bed and head downstairs. "Look who decided to join us" mom chirped. "We already had breakfast sweetie, maybe you could whip something up yourself?"
I sigh, slightly disappointed that no one saved me any bacon, but settle for some Honey Nut Cheerios.
I reach for my favorite bowl on the middle shelf of the cupboard when almost instantaneously the bowl is snatched from my hands and I look up to find none other than Ryan, who smugly grabbed it for himself.
"Hey! What'd I ever do to you?" I exclaim, throwing my hands at my sides. He ignores me and proceeds to grab my favorite cereal and pour it in the bowl. Not only that, what makes it worse is that he puts it on the highest shelf afterwards so my short legs can't reach it.
He laughs watching me struggle, while I jump trying to get box. "I hate you" I stomp. He eventually gets over his laughter and grabs the yellow box for me, with an amused look on his face.
"Don't you have anything better to do?".
"You're right, I should be playing Fortnite" he crunches on his cereal taking one last spoonful before heading over to the couch.
After the delay, I finally get my bowl and join him on the couch, scrolling through my phone whilst I hear the chain of curse words leave his mouth and he continuously gets killed in the game.
It's just a typical lazy Saturday afternoon and I wouldn't have it any other way.

We were just hanging out until the doorbell rang tearing me away from Instagram. "I'll get it!" mom yelled from the office, shuffling over to the door quickly.
I look over to see who it is and my eyes widen when I realize Sawyer's here and I am a complete disoriented mess. She converses with him for a while and then invites him in.
"Honey, it's Sawyer." Mom calls out and I quickly fix my messy hair before running over to him.
"Hey," he gazes over me with the biggest smile on my face. "Hey, whats up?" I ask nonchalantly.
"I'm sorry, I should've called but I couldn't wait, I really wanted to see you. I know you've been kinda distant lately and I don't really know what's going on with you but I just wanted you to know that I'm here for you and-".
I interrupt him by wrapping my arounds around his torso. I press my head against his comforting chest, feeling so safe and warm. "Sawyer, I'm sorry. You're right I have been distant. But it's not you." My eyes close, feeling the warmth of his body and hearing his heart beat against my ear.
"I know it's not," he says. "But I'm still here."
I just don't know what I did to deserve him.
"Hey, lets do something" I say putting my hands into his.
"Come on, I'll drive" he says.
"Give me ten minutes" I quickly run up to my room and hope to fix the disaster that is, my face. I finally change out of my pink pjs and get into something a little more, appropriate.
