"You cheated!" You shouted, disbelief at what you were seeing.

"No I didn't!" Jimin quickly tried to defend himself but you knew what the truth was.

"Jimin, do you think I'm blind? I saw what you just did, there's no use in trying to defend yourself." You were hurt. Was he really going to lie to you after doing something unforgivable?

A grunt was heard from behind you. "Y/N stop getting so worked up on freaking Mario carts," Hani rolled her eyes, tired of hearing you and Jimin arguing over the video game you were playing.

"But he cheated!" You huffed then went to hit Jimin on his arm to which he gave loud 'ow' to.

Jimin frowned. "Hani, if you're going to just lay down and text your boyfriend all day, what's the point of hanging out?"

"What's the point of joining when all you two will do is fight over who's cheating or not?" She retorted, eyes focused on her screen without stealing a glance at the two of you who had stopped the game just to make a conversation.

You and Jimin both looked at each other while rolling your eyes.

"Besides, video games aren't my thing." Hani's face then lit up a few seconds later. "Hey, they're having a party just fifteen minutes from here, we should go," she gasped, eyes still fixed on her phone.

You grunted. "You're going to leave us? Seriously?"

She shook her head, finally looking up as she dropped her phone in her pocket. "Nope, you two are coming with me," she corrected, getting up to shut your game. You and Jimin were about to protest when the girl grabbed your arms to pull you up from the floor. "You two need to get out more," she urged. "You're gonna missing out on a great party."

"I'm not a party freak," you frowned.

"I know that but Jimin and I can't always be the only ones having fun here. Besides, you get free food," she cooed, knowing exactly of your weakness.

Jimin laughed when your eyes lit up at Hani's last few words. Who could blame you though? Whenever there was free food involved, you were in.

"Great! Let's quickly get ready," she chirped right before dragging you in her bedroom to get changed while Jimin waited out in the living room.

You and Hani had been friends since your childhood years and you couldn't remember a time when she was never excited about parties. You on the other hand wasn't that crazy about them but also didn't minded them. But by knowing each other for years, the two of you were inseparable despite the differences the two of you shared.

Jimin became a close friend during your second year in high school. The friendship began with a simple group project the two of you had been assigned to. It still amazes you that the school's heartthrob had became your friend one fateful day. He was now one of your closest friend after Hani, joining in on your small circle at most times.

You couldn't remember the last time you had enjoyed a party but was thankful for the free food prepared, that being the only thing keeping you happy as you stood in the corner of a stranger's house, wondering where Jimin and Hani had ran off to.

It had been about twenty minutes since the three of you had walked in and you were beginning to get bored.

Y/N: Where are you?

You quickly shoot out a text to Jimin, waiting impatiently for him to reply. It was until a few minutes later did he replied.

Jimin: Drunk Hani 🙄

Jimin: Waiting for her prince to pick her up

You quickly typed your fingers away after receiving his texts.

Y/N: The two of you left me ☹️

Y/N: Come backkkkkkk ☹️☹️

After hitting the send button, you looked up, face pouting as you waited again for Jimin to reply. Once looking up though, you found a handsome looking man making his way towards you—at least that was what it looked like.

Y/N: Ooh, hottie coming my way 😋

Jimin: Don't you dare 😠 You belong to me

You giggled. Jimin had always been protective over you but sometimes you would wonder if it was out of friendship or something else.

You shook away the other thought and began to text him again.

Y/N: Since when?

Jimin: Since I laid eyes on you 👀😉

You rolled your eyes. He did loved to flirt with you at times but you knew a guy like him would never find anything except friendship out of you.

Y/N: You're drunk.

Jimin: Am not. I'm perfectly sober thank you very much 😤

Y/N: Your fault for leaving me behind 🤷‍♀️

To your disappointment, you knew exactly who the handsome stranger was; Min Yoongi, aka the cold guy no one could get close to.

He was a mysterious man who kept his silence and it was due to his looks that made him popular among the school. No one really knew him except for Jimin whom you've caught chatting to him at some points but had decided not to drop any questions. Sure you were curious but his cold appearance gave you a reason not to pry.

He did glanced your way but you knew it was too good to be true when the man walked pass you.

Y/N: Nvm, was just Min Yoongi

Y/N: I'm leaving if you're not coming soon

Jimin: Doesn't look like her boyfriend will come soon. Someone has to watch her.

Jimin: Sorry my little butterfly 🦋😬

'My little butterfly,' a nickname you grew to have gotten used to that was given to you by Jimin himself. His sappy infamous line being, "like a butterfly, if I let go of your hand, you might fly away and break, I'm scared."

Whatever that meant.

You groaned after receiving his text. Hani was a hyper drunker so if her boyfriend wasn't going to show up soon, you knew one of you had to look after her. But that night you didn't felt like being a babysitter for you best friend.

After texting Jimin that you'd leave and him replying with a "be safe" text, you dropped your phone into your jean pocket and headed out the doors of the house.

"Leaving so soon?" A voice caught you off guard.

You turned around at the voice, curious as to why someone other than Jimin and Hani had actually attempted to talk to you. Much to your surprise, it was your college senior whom you never thought would pick up a conversation with you at a party;

Min Yoongi.
