"I want to die," you sighed a few days later as you got used to Hani's presence once more, the two of you hanging around in your room.

"You are dead," Hani sassed beside you. "You're a vampire with a dead heart living inside of you."

You groaned at her words before rolling your body just over the edge of your bed so that you were now lying backwards on it, head tilted down as your hair hung loosely to the floor. "How's school?" You asked Hani who had settled herself on the floor next to you, books and papers sprawled around her while she tried to concentrate.

Hani huffed. "You know, sometimes I wish I could just kill those Professors who keeps giving us so much homework and expects us to finish them all in one day. How stupid is this?! There's no point in learning all these chemistry formulas when it's not going to help me in life!"

"Then why don't you just quit? You're a demon, you don't need to attend college at all."

She gave out an exasperated sigh. "Sejun's still there. I can't just leave him."

"Ah," you recalled. "You're still together?" Hani nodded. "And he's a full human?"

She nodded again. "Sadly."

"Does Zero know?"

You saw her rolling her eyes from the corner of your eyes while you stared mindlessly at an empty wall. "If my brother knew, Sejun would be dead by now."

"Wow," you scoffed, "protective much."

"Nope, he just hates humans."

Making a face, you asked her, "why?"

"Y/N-ah, every monster hates humans either out of fear or vengeance."

You blinked in confusion before narrowing your eyes at her with a smirk. "Except you~" you singsonged and Hani smiled, finally turning to you so that she could squeeze your cheeks together in agreement.

"And you were my favorite human," she cooed, bopping your nose.

"Wait," your face suddenly hardened as a sudden realization hit you at her words and you're quick to get back on the bed to properly face her, propping yourself on your elbow for support. "Did Jimin hate me?"

"You? Jimin?" She laughed. "Never."

Your brows furrowed. "Why not?"

"Babe," Hani cooed with a smirk. "Do you not see the looks he gives you every single time he sees you?"

You shook your head. "I don't know what you're talking about."

A sigh escaped her lips, looking as if she was disappointed but wasn't surprised. "You're as gullible as you were a human."

"He stopped talking to me," you pointed out, ignoring her words just before. "I think he liked me better when I was a human."

Hani's face grew confused as you settled your head on your bed, looking up at the ceiling. "Why would Jimin hate the fact that you're a vampire now? That you're his kind? He should be thankful that Yoongi turned you into a vampire. There are all sorts of benefits, you get to live longer, you're stronger and faster, he doesn't have to worrying about loving a—" she paused but you were too much in a daze to consider her last words.

"Oh I get it," your best friend smirked from above as she poked your side to get your attention.

"What?"

"It's because you're surrounded by six other handsome guys in the mansion."

You raised a brow. "You've seen them?" She nodded. "Why would the six be a crucial factor to him hating me as a vampire?"
