Jungkook's POV
"You were bonded to someone before me?!" You slammed Jungkook's door open after the realization while having a conversation with Namjoon.
He expected you to come running up the stairs and into his room without a proper knock so Jungkook wasn't at all too surprised with your sudden visit. He had been in his room the whole day, hearing as you spoke with his hyung about Taehyung's and Jimin's past lives before they were vampires. It was clear that you still cared for his best friend Jimin, maybe even liked him a little—not that he cared.
And after the unknown fact was revealed with you being his second soulmate, Jungkook could sense his friendship with Jimin taking a slight twist all because of you.
He sighed tiredly but didn't opened his eyes to look at you.
"Whoa," you gasped. "You can hang upside down?"
I'm a vampire, duh, he spoke to himself in the mind of where only he could hear and you couldn't. Being bonded to someone else before you had its perks but Jungkook still hated the idea of having someone new in his life.
Finally, he blinked his eyes open and stood up from his position where he had been sitting upside down, hanging from the ceiling and reached back down to land on his bed.
He didn't say a word even as your face was filled with questions and simply sat on his bed crisscrossed, closing his eyes once more.
"You didn't answered my question," you finally spoke after the brief moment of silence.
"Which one?" He asked uninterested. "If I can hang on the ceiling or if I was bonded with someone before you?"
"Well, I already witnessed the first one so..." Your voice trailed off and he could tell you were trying to process what you were about to say.
"How is it possible?" You wondered. "I thought in one's lifetime, they were given only one soulmate. How did you get two?"
Even he wondered that himself but couldn't find the answer to. It frustrated him just to figure out the answer, only to have him back on first base to where he had started. No logic he's had thought of made sense.
"Did your last soulmate died?"
That was it.
He felt his stomach churning with fire. Jungkook hated speaking about the past even though he would always visit them in his mind. But it still didn't meant you could meddle in his business. Sure he was bonded to you but being bonded didn't mean he couldn't not like you, in fact he despised you.
You were just a mere human who had been turned into a vampire because of his hyung, nothing else, nothing more.
He didn't needed to tell you anything. After all, you didn't mattered to him anyways.
Jungkook realized then that you had went quiet, feeling a guilty feeling drop in his stomach that came from you.
"Crap, what did I just say? Why did I even say that? Stupid Y/N, think before you speak! Don't say things that'll make him angry, he already hates you—oh crap, he can hear this. Crap, sorry Jungkook, I didn't mean—"
He sighed, getting you to shut up right away.
Finally opening his eyes to stare at you, you looked like you were ready to escape from his room, to run back into yours because of the gaze he was giving you but to Jungkook's surprise, you held your stance and stood there bravely.
"Come here," he ordered.
You tilted your head in confusion but Jungkook didn't felt like explaining to you until you were where he wanted you to be.
