No matter how you saw it, despite Hoseok confirming a fact different from your thoughts, Jungkook hated you.
You knew Yoongi didn't really liked you but that wasn't surprising because Yoongi was the type to hate everyone so you didn't really minded but it was different coming from Jungkook. The boy wouldn't even spare you a glance.
You weren't sure what his problem was but was too afraid to ask him personally. You did asked Jimin, even Jin and Taehyung to see if they'd give you an answer but they all replied in the same way Hoseok had.
"That's not my story to tell."
Whatever that meant.
Unlike what the boys had told you, you thought otherwise. Maybe the vampire really did hated you. But you couldn't figure out the reason why. You didn't really know him either which made it more frustrating and confusing.
"I never got a 'thank you'," Yoongi raised a brow as he sat down on a sofa next to where you were sitting.
"Why should I thank you? I never asked for this life," you snapped.
"Always the hotheaded I see," he sighed. "Did I asked for my life? No but I was given it anyways."
"Do I care?" You taunted.
Yoongi glared at you but you decided to ignore it by taking the remote control in front of you and pressing the on button. The screen turned on, flashing onto two grieving parents and a few other people who watched as a casket was being brought into the ground, the news reporter saying something but you didn't cared, only watching the funeral from behind her.
"Wow, I never knew I was that important," you uttered, surprised your death was still on the news.
What hit you hard was the look on your parents and Hani's faces. They looked so drained out as if they hadn't eaten and slept in days.
"Please don't do that," you begged in a whispered tone as you brought your hands over to your mouth as the waterworks began to run.
Before you could be hurt anymore, the screen thankfully shifted to another scene and you sighed, closing your eyes as you wiped away the tears.
"Suspect Lee Ahn Joon has been caught after being seen on security footage."
Your brows furrowed in confusion as the TV showed a security footage of a lady getting killed by a man. The lady was definitely you but you couldn't recognize the male even as they showed a picture of him after taking his picture.
"What the heck? That's not my killer."
"He covered up the evidence," Namjoon spoke up. You looked up to find the man walking down the lavish stairs. "Zero has the ability to do that. The man on the screen works for him, it's obvious he planned it all out before actually killing you."
"At least your parents and friend can rest now that your assumed murderer is caught." Yoongi's tone was once again monotone but it felt like he was almost consoling you. "Now the police doesn't have to get involved with Zero."
You nodded at the bright side of the news. "Right."
The front door then creak opened and you all looked up to find Jimin in a black suit. Your brows furrowed. "Where'd you go?"
"To your funeral," the man replied.
"How? What about the sun?"
"It's a dark afternoon Y/N, the clouds covered it up." He walked up the stairs without looking back at you, hands lazily untying his black tie. "I talked to Hani about not coming to school anymore. She didn't take it very well but what can I do? I can't stay under the sun and there's no reason to."
