Vulnerable to yourself.
Jimin was right.
You stared at the reflection of yourself, watching the water ripple under a small leaf who flew down to deliver a delicate kiss atop the liquid. You were back from your talk with Jimin, wanting to try again.
Focusing on nature was one thing, you could do that in your sleep. But when it came down to focusing on your own self, the process was a little bit difficult. Things weren't going to be easy. Beating Zero meant having full control over your own self, your body, your mind, your soul, and your powers.
All of it was hard to control at the moment but you knew that one by one, you'd get them all.
But now the question was, did you had time?
Time wasn't going to wait for you. Soon Zero may find you, destroy other parts of the world, killing hundreds of innocents and leave everyone completely vulnerable. Though he couldn't necessarily do it without you, you knew it wasn't hard for him to have you under his control.
After all, with your parents gone, he'd find other weaknesses of yours, hurt the guys and have your dead heart shattering in pieces.
You couldn't risk that.
Through the reminders of their soft smiles, giggles and laughter ringing in your head, you knew that you couldn't fail them. Their duty was to protect you. They were your guardians. But in return, it meant that you had to do your job as well, to protect them and the world from the dangers of Zero.
"Find your driving force, young vampire, find the reasons for your actions," Somi had told you.
You already had it, that driving force; Namjoon, Jin, Hoseok, Taehyung, Yoongi, Jimin, and Jungkook.
They've given you a new place to call home, friendly smiles with the ability to make you laugh again when you needed it. They've protected you. Now it was your turn.
You couldn't fail them.
So closing your eyes, you refocused again.
Try again, you told yourself. No matter how many times it takes you, keep on trying again.
You return to your past life again, to the human you once were. The colors around you were much brighter than the last time you had revisited. Everything felt so much more lighter and you saw your little self running around in her little room, playing with her fun imaginations.
You had dreamt of being a graceful ballerina at the time, dancing around on your tippy toes and although you failed so many times, you didn't gave up.
Giving up had never been a word in your vocabulary, even when trying something new and you didn't liked it. You kept going along with it. You were scared at the mere thought of quitting so you've always put forth effort in whatever you did.
That's a strength, you smiled to yourself.
"Don't hurt them! I'll get you the money you need!" You watched your younger self trying her best not to cry as she shouted at the loan sharks. Your family had been in a financial crisis so out of desperation, it drove them to make bad decisions.
So at the age of sixteen, you looked for places to work at, striving through the days after school then coming home every night to study hard in order to maintain your good grades. Mornings became even worse when you had to literally drag yourself out of bed, almost dozing off in classes.
A strength, you smiled again at your hardworking self who did everything she could to help her family out.
During freshmen year of college, Hani had her first heartbreak. You had to admit, you grew prettier during those times but you were never really interested in the guys that showed interest.
