No matter what sort of happy thoughts you've tried to put inside your head, all the negatives to its side took over and consumed your thoughts. It was like losing your first love despite you and Jungkook never actually knowing each other.
His glaring eyes and words stayed in your mind. Although you could feel his madness, your sadness all took it over. A lady's feelings were always much stronger than the men's after all.
You hated crying over it. You hated holding onto the feelings that would had made you happy. He was your soulmate like he stated, the two of you were bonded together meaning no matter how much you or him tries to escape, you'll never be able to leave each other. You were pulled together by an invisible red string, something that could never be cut unless your soulmate were to die. But even after that you'd never gain another soulmate.
It was how the universe worked, you couldn't do anything about it. If you could, you would change it immediately. You didn't wanted to stay with someone who wouldn't even try to love you, who had hated you from the second he saw you. Why did he out of everyone had to ended up being your soulmate?
For some sort of reason, you had always thought that if you were ever given a soulmate in your lifetime, the possibilities would likely fall over to Jimin.
He was your best friend. Although it wasn't an accident that the two of you met, he stayed in your life and had became your personal guardian angel. There was always some sort of feeling that grew between the two of you, something besides friendship. You've thought about it before, how'd it feel to love a boy like Jimin and honestly, you didn't minded. He was the closest guy friend to you.
Hani had always known something was going on and pushed the two of you to say something about it but none of you did.
Maybe it was because you were scared. Because you didn't wanted to lose a great friendship like in those sappy dramas you'd always watch.
Your mind then shifted as to why Jimin had gotten angry after seeing the bond that grew when you and Jungkook touched for the first time. Did he really loved you like Hani had always told you? Was that why he was angry? Because you were Jungkook's soulmate and not his?
But now it was clear to you. Because no matter how much you loved Jimin, you knew you could never love him enough for the two of you to spend your life together forever as lovers. You loved him but it was all due to him being a great friend. But you wanted so much more. If Jungkook couldn't love you, why couldn't the universe had gotten you and Jimin together? Why was destiny playing games on you and decided to break your heart instead?
You were back to being alone after thinking you weren't when Yoongi had decided to be kind enough to send you to your grieving best friend and parents. You couldn't even look towards Jimin because he too was angry. The others had their own thoughts on things, clearly needing space too to think on some stuff but you didn't know why and what.
You decided the best way to feel a little better was to be alone. But not in the house, you didn't wanted to be surrounded by people who didn't cared about your existence. The only reason Yoongi saved you, the only reason Jimin approached you, and the only reason they all allowed you to stay with them was all because of that stupid royal blood you were given.
So you got up and walked out of your bedroom after wiping your tears away. No one was out in the living room, probably in their own rooms. Maybe Jungkook knew you were going out. You weren't allowed to, them saying it was too dangerous for you to leave on your own but at that point you didn't really cared about your life.
You needed fresh air to think on things and staying inside that empty hallow bedroom wasn't going to do you any good.
You stepped outside the doors and was met by the beautiful night sky above you. Surrounded by trees and beautiful stars, you decided to talk a walk to ease your mind.
Whether I'll get killed by doing this or not, who cares. Nobody seems to care anyways.
Jungkook could hear your thoughts, you knew, but he decided to not say anything about them, leaving you to wonder off into the nights alone.
It was what you wanted anyways so you were glad for it. But you had to be careful about what you were saying in your thoughts because Jungkook could hear them.
However minutes you had been walking (you couldn't care less about quantifying it), you felt much better than you had been back at the mansion. It was probably the feeling of freedom again, a feeling of escaping a cage you had been locked into because you were forced to accept your new life.
In your next step of walking, your body froze when your ears alerted you that heartbeats were around. They didn't sounded like a normal human's heartbeat, in fact it was much more rapid, far from normal. There wasn't only just one heartbeat but had possibly filled a whole pack.
And when you turned around at the sound of heavy breathings, your eyes widened at the sight in front of you.
Wolves.
You gasped.
Not because there were seven wolves in front of you but because you had just spoken of it in your head and knew that Jungkook could hear it. It would be much better to just die than having someone coming to save you—if the vampire was even willing being that he'd already shown his disinterest in you.
The next thing you knew, those wolves had transformed into humans, eyes looking reading to pounce on you because they found you as a delicious looking prey.
"So pretty," one of them grinned, his long fingers sliding along your jawline which had made you shiver underneath his hungry gaze.
"Hyung, she looks like that girl Jimin and Yoongi had been guarding," another said.
Wonho.
He was one of your fellow classmates back in college but the two of you had never spoken before, just knew of each other's existence.
"Wonho?"
You gasped again. Those weren't you thoughts, they were Jungkook's.
After hearing what Wonho had to say, their supposed leader then eyed you up and down. "Royal blood huh? No wonder you smell absolutely delicious." He sniffed along your neck but you quickly pushed him away with your strength.
You were much stronger than you had been when you were just turned a vampire. It was possibly due to adjusting to its life and possessing the royal blood.
"Shownu hyung." His fellow pack member went to steady him after being pushed away by you but the leader could only laugh.
"Y/N where the heck are you?!"
Jungkook either sounded worried or just angry that you had managed to bring yourself in danger. Either way, you decided to ignore those thoughts.
"See that?" Shownu laughed. "The legends were true. She's powerful."
"We can't kill her," one of them warned.
"No but we need her," Shownu acknowledged.
You glared at him. "As if I'll let you take me."
"Jooheon, Hyungwon, grab her," the leader ordered.
You saw the two wolves approaching you but before they could have the chance to grab you, you were on your feet and quickly ran away as fast as you could. You could hear their faint laughs as you ran away, speaking of how you could run away but you couldn't hide.
"Come back you idiot!"
That's what I'm trying to do! Shut up.
You could hear how the seven wolves running to catch up to you but you weren't going to give up. Being a vampire had its benefits, you were much faster than before and your stamina was lasting much longer.
That was until something stabbed your leg and you found yourself stumbling onto the ground, unable to run anymore. When you looked back at your leg, thinking it was just a normal dagger that got you, you gasped at the sight.
Silver.
