"Gosh, are you crying again? What's wrong?"
A few days later, Yuri's great grandmother was still at the house, giving a helping hand in trying to come up with a good plot to destroy Zero and was also a big help with training you.
During your free times, you always found yourself in the library, reading books here and there.
And while feeling your aching pain, Jungkook was fast to approach you.
"It's just," you sniffed, pointing down at the book you had in hand, "the author decided to kill off the dog and now the owner is crying and so am I because, what the heck? Why the dog out of everyone else?"
"Y/N," he sighed, a breath of relief falling from his mouth as he realized your cries wasn't that serious this time.
The soft Jungkook in front of you was a man who was gradually maturing. Even though you could still feel his pains here and there, those afflictions were only beginning to fade away.
It made you happy to feel the change in him.
"You remind me of Yuri, she cried over stupid things too," Jungkook told you.
"It's not stupid."
Disappointing but not surprised. Yuri was going to stay in his mind forever, it wasn't ever going away—at least not soon.
You decided not to show your disappointment though, and instead went on to wipe away your tears as Jungkook took the book you had and placed it on the desk next to you.
"Jungkook."
He gave a hum in reply, letting you know that he was listening.
"What if you're bonded to me because you're somewhat connected to the royal blood?"
The vampire took a second to register your question. With brows furrowed and head tilted to the side in confusion, Jungkook crossed his arms against his chest as he leaned against the heavy shelf. "Explain," he asked.
"Well," you said, pressing your lips together as you thought on the subject, "it sort of makes sense in a way, right? You being connected to the royal blood would mean being connected to the person who possesses it. Otherwise what else can explain why you have two soulmates, each having the royal blood? One passed away, the other was then given it and now you're bonded once more."
"Then that would just mean I'd be connected to every other person who has the royal blood if each one of them dies."
That didn't sounded too great.
You sighed, shrugging. "It was just a guess. This whole situation is confusing me."
"Yeah, I—"
"Y/N!" You heard another voice calling you and stood up to turn towards the voice.
You saw Taehyung running down the stairs and towards you and Jungkook. The second he was close enough, the man grabbed your wrist to lead you back up to where he had came from.
You shared a quick confused glance at Jungkook as you were being pulled away from him.
"Let's go, Kooks," Taehyung, hand still holding yours, said.
Kooks.
"Don't."
You giggled softly at how cute the nickname had sounded, earning a glare from Jungkook when you looked behind your shoulder.
Taehyung didn't tell you what was going on and when he led you to the living room where everyone else were, your curiosity grew some more.
You blinked in confusion as the man sat you down right in front of Yuri's great grandmother and walked away to stand next to Jimin.
