Chapter 24

Today was the day.As the guests gathered in the Cathedral watched with wide grins and Dumbledore as the priest,Lizzy stood at the alter with a bouquet of white roses lilies.Courtesy of Lily.

Lizzy's dress flowed around her feet,her white ballerina flats provided much comfort after standing for quite a period of time.Lily,was obviously made Bridesmaid while James was the best man.Only close friends and trusted people came.Even Andromeda came along with her husband,who had their daughter with them.As for Lizzy's side,only her brother and father came.

Everything was beautiful.From decorations to food,the couple had didn't hesitate to spend money.But the most beautiful,was Lizzy.Lizzy wore a curve hugging lace wedding dress that flared out at the waist.The lace was made of expensive chiffon lace that had very beautiful and intricate designs.The material of the dress itself was silk,providing maximum comfort.

Lizzy's hair was styled into a complicated bun at the top of her head with a tiara at the top,holding the veil.Lizzy however,had only eyeliner and red lip gloss for makeup.Since her natural beauty was already enough.

"I now pronounce you husband and wife.You may kiss the bride."Dumbledore smiled.Sirius didn't hesitate as she pulled Lizzy close to him,and kissed her on the lip,dipping her,with her arms around his neck.

Everything was perfect then and there.But,a loud bang was heard as the doors of the Cathedral burst open,the door flying off its hinges.Everyone grabbed their wands,raising them towards the door.Sirius reached into his coat pocket,drawing his wand as well,on the ready to protect his wife if needed.

Lizzy decided against taking her wand and settled for wandless and nonverbal magic.She narrowed her eyes,staring at the door intently with her hands raised.

As the smoke cleared came a spine chilling cackle that Sirius knew all too well.Andromeda would have stayed if not for her daughter's safety.But,that was besides the point.That cackle only reminded him of one person and one person alone.Bellatrix Black.He hadn't seen his cousin for a few months.And to see such a sight.His cousin was still beautiful as ever.But her black hair was an unruly mop on her head.What didn't surprise him however,was the Dark Mark that showed itself to the world with pride.

"Hello,Bellatrix."Sirius hissed

Bellatrix's eyes widened."Don't say my name you blood traitor!"She spat.

"What do you want,Bellatrix?"Lizzy asked,slowly walking towards the door.She knew exactly what they wanted.But,they had ruined her perfect day.And she couldn't forgive them for that.

"Advada-"Bellatrix started,pointing at Lizzy

"Flipendo Tria!"Lizzy shouted,thrusting her hands forward at the Death Eaters."How Dare you-"Bellatrix started but was cut off by another voice.One sounding more supreme,powerful.

"Enough!"it shouted.Lizzy's eyes widened."Protego Horribilis!"She muttered,casting an extremely light blue shield around the guests.She stepped out of the shield,facing the man before her.

"Enough,Tom.Its me you want,its me you will fight.Your fight is with me.Not them.Not now,not ever."she whispered,her bright blue eyes flared,showing nothing but rage and hatred for the man before her.He chuckled."You really haven't changed in the slightest,Lizzy.You're still as fearless as ever."Tom said.

Lizzy smiled."Why ever would I change?"She smiled.Lizzy grabbed his hand and apparated to a deserted island far off Scotland.The fight was between her and Tom Riddle.

She brought her wand out from under her sleeves,and opened her palm,creating a fireball.She pointed the wand at tom.But,it was rather hard,considering she was in a wedding dress.

"Its time for you to join my ranks,Lizzy.""No."She stated.Tom chuckled darkly."No?"

"No."Lizzy said once again.He laughed.

"You must be forgetting that there are people int he Cathedral that I can kill."

"I don'r care,Riddle.I will fight you.I will end this."Lizzy hissed,her words laced with Venom.Tom raised his wand.

"Expelliarmus"he said,causing Lizzy's wand to fly out of his hands.Lizzy laughed."Honestly,Riddle.Have you forgotten I can do wandless magic?Or has your brain shrunk so much?I have grown way more powerful than my mother.She's useless compared to me."Lizzy said.She then waved her hand,muttering "Petrificus Totalus." And "Everte Statum." Which caused him to be thrown off.

"Leave me alone,Riddle.If you don't want me to finish you off.I can easily kill you,Tom.I'm more powerful than you."She finished,picking up her wand and apparating back to the Cathedral where Sirius ran towards her,enveloping her in a hug.

"God dammit,Lizzy.I just married you,don't kill yourself."He whispered.Lizzy laughed,then turned to the Death Eaters.

"Get out!"she yelled,throwing multiple fireballs in their direction,making them disappear into a puff of black smoke that trailed out of the doors and windows.Lizzy sighed.

"I'm Sorry."she whispered.Sirius embraced her and carried her.

"Its fine,Lizzy.Important thing is your fine and that I married you."He said before apparating into their house.

"Sirius..."Lizzy spoke softly once she had been put on the ground.Her face held fear.She had discovered something that seemed to be the most bothering to her right before the wedding.A prophecy that she had forgotten until now.

Sirius turned around with a smile,his smile faltering after he saw the downcast look of his wife.

"What is it?"He whispered,putting his hands on both of her shoulders.A tear fell down from her cheeks and splattered on the floor.She looked down.How was she to tell Sirius?How was she to tell him that she would eventually get taken by Voldemort?No.She wouldn't allow that.She wouldn't allow herself to be taken away.Not to the likes of him.She had a life to live with Sirius.

"Hey..."Sirius whispered,cupping her face and wiping away the tears with his thumbs.

"You can tell me.I'm here for you.For better for worse."He finished.

Lizzy smiled."Its nothing."

Her heart ached.But,she couldn't allow that prophecy to come true.But,if it was to protect Sirius,she would do anything to make sure no harm comes his way.

Sirius' eyebrows furrowed."Lizzy."He said warningly.Lizzy looked up in fear.She couldn't get away with it bow could she?Was it right to tell him?Could she tell him?

"Lizzy."Sirius repeated"What are you--"

"Voldemort's bound to capture me."She said.Sirius's eyes widened in fear.

"What?"He croaked.

"The prophecy...I saw it...I saw a prophecy.I-I was captured by Voldemort.Later next June."She whispered.

Sirius hugged her tightly.

"And I won't let that happen.I promise-"

"Wait."she said."There's more."

"I can't really say it word for word but...The child of May,an offspring of hope will put a stop to this misery.And end the battle once and for all."she finished.

"Child of May...Your born in May are you not?"Sirius asked.Lizzy nodded solemnly.

"And I'm afraid our child will have to end the battle."she finished.

The couple lay on the bed with a new change of clothes with Lizzy laying her head on his chest,listening to his alluring heartbeat that lulled her to sleep.

"Its been a long day,Sirius.Forget about the prophecy...We'll discuss this some other time.Live in the moment...Please?"She whispered.

Sirius hummed in agreement,drawing invisible circles on the small of her back.He gave her a kiss on the forehead.

"I love you,Lizzy."

"Love you too,Sirius."
