Chapter 9

Lizzy woke up,sprawled out on the floor with Remus' and Josh's eyes staring at her worriedly.She rubbed her eyes and sat up.She looked around her,her eyebrows furrowed as she wondered how she ended up on the floor.

"You...um...fell."Josh said,chuckling."Oh."she said.She stood up with the help of Josh and Remus and they made their way back to the castle.But,a question was left unanswered in Remus' brain.So,he decided to ask.He stopped walking,causing Lizzy and Josh to stop as well and look at Remus.

"I was thinking,"he paused,pondering if he should continue or not."How did you get to the shrieking shack?Or how we didn't attack you."Remus said.Lizzy cocked her her head to the side.She glanced at her brother then back at Remus.

"Well,as for how I got here,I followed my twin here,"she pointed at her twin"during the first full here at Hogwarts.As for why you didn't attack me,I'm an animagi.An unregistered Animagi."Lizzy stated proudly.Remus stared blankly at her.She sighed,shaking her head."Its...nothing.I'll explain it later."Remus nodded,as they continued walking.

When they arrived at the castle,breakfast had already started and the Hallways were empty.The trio had been in their robes they wore yesterday and they found themselves too lazy to climb up to the seventh floor to change.So,they headed straight for the great hall.

The aroma of the mouth watering food hit them as they entered the doors.Lizzy closed her eyes and inhaled deeply letting out a satisfied breath.

"Smells lovely."she smiled,opening her eyes and following the two boys in front of her to the Gryffindor table.

Lizzy sat herself down in between Remus and Sirius.The boys looked up from their food."Where have you been?We didn't see you after you left and Lily was worried sick!"James scolded,throwing his hands up.

Peter nodded,"Yeah.Where were you?"he asked.Lizzy smiled meekly and shrugged."Well,I'm here alive and in one piece.Remus and Josh was with me anyways.Nothing to worry about."

Remus nodded as the group of friends eyed their two friends suspiciously but shrugged it off and continued eating.

Lizzy reached for a brownie and hot cocoa.She took a sip of the cocoa."So,what mischief have you been doing while I was gone with Remus and Josh?"The boys stopped stuffing their mouths with food and looked up at Lizzy with eyes wide and mouths agape.

Lizzy looked up at the boys from her cup."What?You think I wouldn't find out?Surely you know what I'm talking about.So,spill."She demanded.James spoke up."We dyed Snivellus' hair!"He said proudly.Lizzy's eyes widened as Snape walked into the hall with blonde hair.The boys snickered.Lily saw and was fuming.Lizzy's eyes widened as she turned to the boys.

Lily stood up and started walking towards the group."Either you run,or your dead meat."She whispered pointing at the infuriate Lily.James,Sirius and Peter's eyes widened as they grabbed a few treacle tarts and dashed out of the great hall.Lily stopped behind Lizzy and gave her a glare.

Lizzy looked up from her mug of cocoa and smiled smugly."Why hello,Lily.Pleasure to see you.Haven't seen you since breakfast,yesterday."she paused,turning around to face the red head.Lily flared up."You told them to run."she hissed.Lizzy calmly looked at her and smiled."I suppose I did,yes."She smiled.

"Don't make me tell Professor McGonagall."Lily said, glaring holes into Lizzy's head.Lizzy raised an eyebrow."Don't try to intimidate me,Lily.I did no such thing.Besides,James just wants your attention."Lily's eyes widened."You can't be serious-""I am not Sirius,Lily.I'm Lizzy."she smiled,giggling while Remus just watched in amusement.

Lily's face turned red with rage."Lizzy Jenny Daelynn.Do Not play with me.You know fairly well that what they did was not right and you are defending them."Lily snarled.Lizzy stood up,giving Lily a small glare."Just like you would do for Snape!Merlin's beard,Lily!Stop looking for a opportunity to look at James in a wrong way!He's done nothing to you and you are making him seem like he's done something that he did not do!"she hissed.

The intensity of Lily's glare softened."Your right,Lizzy.But-"Lizzy flared up."But you have to give him a chance!Stop defending Snape!You are not his parent or girlfriend for that matter!"Lizzy yelled,catching the attention of the whole great hall.Lily looked around embarrassed,her face flushed.

"So what are you doing,huh?Why are you defending them!"she yelled.

"Because,Lily.I love them.Their my friends,my family here at Hogwarts."she paused."Their like my brother's,Lily.They are family!"she yelled.Lily stood there shocked while Lizzy glared at Lily.

"So think about it.Its not always James' fault.Its not always Sirius' fault.And its not always my fault.It's not always our fault.So quit acting like it is,Lily.It could have been his fault."she hissed,grabbing her bag and walking out the doors of the great hall.Remus looked shocked at what just happened.She defended them.Again.

Lily turned towards Remus whom wiled his mouth with a napkin,collected his things and followed Lizzy,a small smile on his face.Lily stood there,all eyes on her as she slowly walked back to her seat with Skye,whom looked a little shocked at what had just happened.

"Lizzy,wait!"3 voices called for her.She turned.James,Sirius ad Peter.She looked at them questioningly.When they neared her,they engulfed her in a hug.Her eyes widened but she slowly melted into the hug."What is this?"She asked,giving them a hug.The boys smiled and gave her a simple reply."Thank you."Only now,there was another voice.Remus.

She smiled at them."Its fine.Besides,I don't think you boys are at fault here."The boys beamed and gave Lizzy another hug as they made their way towards their first class,Potions.With Professor Slughorn.
