"You're what?" Kevin exclaims just as the two youngest Dallas-siblings come running in. Jack and Emma. "Daddy, look what auntie Sierra got me," the little 8-year-old girl screams running towards her father. Uncle Cameron takes his youngest daughter in his arms while Jake sits down next to his sister.

"Again, you're what?" Kevin screams at our mother again while I just sit there in shock. "I'm pregnant." Mom exclaims doing jazz hands next to her tummy. "You can't be really pregnant!" Kevin screams at mom. I finally snap out of my thoughts.

"Why not Kev? It means we're getting a baby brother or sister." I scream towards my brother. He rolls his eyes showing me that he doesn't agree. "We're seventeen though Kai!"

It's the last thing he screams before he stomps off to his room. Jay stands up to chase after him, but I grab his arm. "Don't," I tell him. "It's better to let it dawn on him for a little while."

Jay rolls his eyes but sits down again anyway. "Kailee!" Little Emma runs my way. I take her in my arms as she places herself in my lap.

"Aunt Alex?" I hear Liv ask when my mom turns her head towards her. "Is that why you were in the hospital?" My mom answers with a nod.

"Mom? Dad?" It's my turn to ask. "Is this going to change anything?" Immediately my dad jumps up to envelop me in a hug.

"Nothing will change how much we love you," he whispers in my ear. "We just have to love another person just as much," he continues. My mother chuckles at his words. "Cheesecake," she coughs.

I wriggle myself out of my father's hug to grab two more muffins out of the basket. Before my mother can tell me any different, I run out of the living room towards Kev's room. I knock on the door. When he doens't respond I knock again.

"Go away, mom!" I hear him scream through the door. "It's Kailee, can I come in?" I ask him. "I have muffins," I add when I hear my brother groan.

That sound is followed by a couple of footsteps and him opening the door. As soon as he opens the door he grabs one of the muffins out of my hand. He runs back to his bed and plops down on it.

"Kai, what's going to happen after that baby gets born?" he mutters staring up to the ceiling."We're going to have a baby brother or sister," I tell him cuddling up to him.

"But we're leaving for college soon, what if that baby is going to take our place?" I look up to my brother's face. "Do you really think mom and dad have the heart to replace us?" Kevin shakes his head at my question.

"But babies take attention and time, Kai." Kevin places my hair in his hand and twirls a lock of hair around his finger.

"But mom and dad will find a way to figure it out. They always do," I whisper back. I lay my head back on his chest. Not much after that, I hear Kevin's soft snores making me drift off to sleep not much later.

------------

"I think she did it again," I hear a voice whisper. "Duh, it's Kailee, she's just like me." I hear another voice whisper. A voice that sounds a lot like my father.

"Please uncle Shawn, you could only hope you were as awesome as Kailee is." I hear yet another voice whisper. A voice that sounds like my best friend Liv.

"Can you shut up?" my brother's voice grumbles just above me. That's when I decide to open my eyes. I see both my parents and Liv standing at the footend of Kevin's bed. My mother's arms wrapped around my father's waist from the side.

"Wake up my lovely twins. You have school today," my father cheers. As if on cue both Kevin and I groan before we roll off the bed.

I cross the hallway towards my own room. I soon put on a really simple outfit. A plain white shirt, a pair of shorts and a flannel around my waist. You can say that I got my fashion style from my mother.
