Extra Chapter: Marry Me!!

Kihara Fuyumi POV

It was afternoon, Chizuru was sweeping the yard while I was reading my book at the shade of a tree, Saito was practicing his sword while Okita was at the Hallway lounging around yawning just watching Chizuru and Saito do they’re work

“Souji-Niisan!” The silence was interrupted by little voices of children.

I ignored them and continued reading, they were noisy but I don’t really mind the noise too much, though.

“The height from the point of view here is interesting right?” Souji had a threatening tone of voice

“O-Okita-san! Please don’t scare the children like that! They didn’t really mean what they said! please let it slide!” Chizuru pleads

“Listen here kid” I sighed and stood up, I know Souji is childish but picking on a kid just shows how childish he really is

“Okita, put the kid down, we all know that you idolize Kondou-san the most than anyone here, the kid is a kid they don’t know what they’re talking about so put him down” I reasoned coming towards them,  Saito stops his practice diverting his attention to us.

“But this kid” I cut him off

“Even if you scold him, he wouldn’t really listen since a kid’s brain doesn’t understand complicated stuff even if you explain Kondou-san’s personality, you’ll just be a big bully in their eyes, so calm down and put him down” I told him as calmly as possible, he sighs and puts him down

“Are you alright?” I said kneeling down to the kid meeting his eye level

“...” The kid stared at me for a moment before his eyes widen “You’re a girl aren’t you?!”

“No. Of course not” I told him having a blank look as possible

“No you’re a girl! And you’re the one who also took down that ronin who tried to take me as hostage!” This was that kid “Please Marry me!” He says bowing his head all of us deadpanned.

“What’s this? The kid fell in love with you Fuyumi-chan hahahaha” Souji laughed

“Look, I’m not a girl, I’m a boy” I said convincing him

“No you’re not!” He suddenly pulls my scarf off of me “Take her hair tie as well!” He orders his other friends with one swift pull my hair came down on my shoulders “See? Why are you lying! You have girl boobs and you totally look like a girl!” I was about to grab my scarf when they suddenly ran “We’re not returning this until you agree to marry me” I got up immediately while they ran away

“Shit, I let my guard down” I said gritting my teeth, All of us heard soldiers coming towards us.

“Hide her” Okita says Saito suddenly grabbed my arm and hugged me to my surprise, they made a formation so that I wouldn’t be seen in their line of sight.

“Ah! Captain Okita! Captain Saito!” I heard them stop.

“Hey you guys!” Okita awkwardly laughed at them, I feel Saito’s breathe on top of my head and I can hear his heartbeat and can smell his scent, I feel my cheeks getting hotter and my heart pounding in my chest...I’ve never felt this way before “See you later” I heard Okita say snapping my thoughts out of the way.
Saito’s grip loosens and he lets go afterwards my face was so hot.

“Huh?” Okita brings his face close to mine “Why are you beet red?” He questions “Did you come down with a cold?” He places a hand on my forehead, I gently remove his hand on my forehead and shook my head calming my heart.
