Kihara Fuyumi along with Yukimura Chizuru started to stay here last year when we caught them seeing our Furies killing Ronin in the streets of Kyoto, Yukimura Chizuru is not a threat but Kihara Fuyumi is a big mystery, here we are again the Shinsengumi Captains gathered like before we will decide on what to do to her.
“This is Déjà vu all over again” She remarks
“Kihara” I started, Souji and Saito are both holding their swords on her neck for drastic reasons as well, if she does anything funny then it will be the death of her “Can you explain yourself to us on why the hell are you sneaking around the compound at the middle of the night?” I sternly said
“Well, alright…” She gave a thoughtful look before answering “Besides protecting Chizuru my Otōsama gave me another mission, he ordered me to investigate unnatural demons here” She explains.
“Wait, what do you mean by ‘unnatural’ demons?” I asked
“Not natural, fake, imitation, synthetic” She elaborated but I shook my head.
“I didn’t mean to say to elaborate, I meant was explain yourself” I told her
“What are you talking about imitation demons? And why were you ordered to investigate something like this?”
“…” She became silent, but afterwards sighed “My Otōsama said to me that this synthetic demons will change the balance of the natural world if this keeps on, word is Yukimura Kodo were the ones that unleashed this creatures here in our country creating a potion that is in fact poison for you humans” I was taken aback by her statement why is she referring to us as ‘humans’ “So I suggest you stop your experiments on your kind to save me the trouble as well” she breathes out a sigh
“Why the hell should we listen to you?” Souji questions “You act suspicious for the past year, you never explained yourself thoroughly and now your giving out advise to us?” he yelled “Who the hell do you think you are? Huh Fuyumi-chan?” his grip on his sword tightened
“Souji’s right, and besides we don’t even know if you’re working for the enemy, who knows what you would do with the information you just found out” she suddenly burst out laughing I’m becoming annoyed by her demeanor
“Hijikata-san” she stopped laughing her voice was low and it wasn’t just her voice the temperature of the room suddenly dropped, the hair on my neck stood up “Before I tell you anything else I guess I need to demonstrate first on what I am” The other captains became more alert they did what I did grabbed their weapons “I need you to answer my questions before I answer any of yours any further” She closes her eyes all of us were surprised when it opened again, her eyes were a shade of gold her pupils slit
