Chapter 32: Little Sisters Request

“Heisuke, huh?” I sub-consciously said, I didn’t know him on a personal level but as the elder sister of Fuyumi I am grateful for the kindness he showed my little sister “…” I silently made a prayer for the both of their souls to attain peace, Hijikata stood up but there were no tears in his eyes, Chizuru on the other hand was still crying “Chizuru-chan” I called out she looked up at me while I bend down and patted her head gently smiling at her “You may not remember me anymore but I am Fuyumi’s elder sister Yuriko” I introduced “Now, Fuyumi has reported that you did not want to come with her because it was your choice which the Kihara has respected but, we cannot let you fraternize with a fake demon” I explained

“What are you trying to say-” Hijikata abruptly cuts me off but I stood straight again with a stern and serious expression on my face

“Fuyumi made a deal with you that if one of you became nutty then she will kill you, unfortunately the Kihara Clan cannot overlook that deal that she made with you…” Hijikata draw his sword and pointed it at me “Let me finish human, I doubt that you can defeat me with your ‘borrowed’ powers” His hair changed color as well as his eyes

“We won’t know until I try-” I changed into my second demon form which surprised the two, the whole room became frozen, he couldn’t move since I’ve frozen his whole torso

“Stop!” Chizuru cried out grabbing my arm

“I am not one for patience human, if I am not done talking you have no right to interrupt!” I roared the whole room dropping in temperature by the second, both of them were trembling from the cold “You may have power but you are just a mere pebble to us true demons, this is what a true demons power is, and this is the Kihara demon form” I narrowed my golden eyes at him “When this is all over and we have successfully reclaimed Fuyumi once again the Kihara Army will search for remaining fakes such as yourself, you humans will have no exceptions even if you still retain your sanity” I said “but” I inhaled and exhaled calming my nerves down “because Fuyumi is in-debt to you for looking out for her, providing food and shelter for her even though not entirely knowing the reason and letting her go, even though Shiranui-san helped her escaped from you, I will give you something as some sort of antidote for consuming the water of life” I brought out a purple pouch from my attire
“The pouch contains only three vials, I cannot give you any more of these since humans are too selfish for their own good” I grabbed Chizuru’s hand and placed it on her palm “Chizuru-chan” I stared at her face “I have more trust in you than humans since you are one of us, deny it if you will but you were born a demon not a human” Chizuru looked down “I will give you this pouch but I want to make things clear, if you mate with the human with muddled blood of a demon we will kill the family you have created with that human” I said with a serious tone in my voice “Even if you are a pureblooded demon and you are the last of the Yukimura. I have made this since Fuyumi is in-debt to the Shinsengumi and this is the payment of that, and this is also her request to help the both of you” she looked at me surprised

“D-Did you say you made this?’ She questions

“Yes, I made it” I confirmed “It was pretty hard to make it since I have used taboo magic” I informed her “that is also why I have only three, I will explain this to you very clearly Chizuru-chan as well as you human so listen carefully, once you drink this you cannot drink the water of life twice as well as activate the powers that the poison that is given to you, because the power that this vials hold can only be used once, and you cannot drink another vial when you have already consumed once, this will not give you the life force that you have already exhausted while you were using your borrowed powers and this will not heal any kind of disease, this only targets the poison that is inside your body that is caused by the water of life, I do not know what demon blood was exactly used mixing the so called water of life but it is demon blood nonetheless even if it is from the west” my eyes travel to both of them “Humans and demons can mingle but not abominations that are made only for experimental use, we do not allow things that are born from an unnatural state, the world will fall into chaos if that happens” I gave them a thoughtful look “I am already breaking a few rules by making and giving you this. but I cannot turn down Fuyumi’s request, I also do not want her to be in debt to a human least of all, humans that are only puppets to other humans” I remarked “You will retain your humanity once you consume and listened to my instructions, the poison will naturally flush out of you. You will be the one to give the humans who needs this the most or the ones that wants to retain their humanity again such as Hijikata-san, but I am warning you, you cannot duplicate what I have originally made, I am too special for my own good to have my works be duplicated”

“What happens if I didn’t follow the things you said?” I furrowed my eyes and smirked at the human

“You will pay the ultimate price” I finally calmed my nerves down and returned to my human form, the ice thawing around us “Death” Chizuru gasp “So I suggest you consume it after you have cut the strings that controls you, especially you human” I said “And Chizuru-chan” I called out “The Kihara Clan’s offer will never change for you, you are still welcome to be with us if that human ever mistreats you, you can also visit us, just come to the south and speak your name towards one of the gate guards they will escort you towards our manor” I patted her head

“O-Okay…” she nods

“Come” I held both of my hands out for them to grab “Grab onto my hand so that I can teleport you out of here” Chizuru grabbed my hand while Hijikata was hesitant “We do not have all day human” I growled he takes my hand “Take care of Chizuru-chan will you human? And don’t be too reckless what you have shown me earlier today seems like you are the type to be ill-tempered, do not let your life be wasted since the future is already beside you” I glance at Chizuru “Miracles only happen once after-all”
After I said that I teleported them outside of Sendai Castle, the ice already thawed and Toshio and Shiranui-san came to get me, they led me to Sen-Hime and Kimigiku-san.

“Yuriko-san!” Sen-Hime greeted

“I’m glad the both of you are safe” I breathe out “Can you cast your barrier around this Castle Hime? We need a barrier around as to not let any humans getting in this empty castle”

“I can” she nods

“Alright, our real mission begins”
