Morning came and after the events of Ikedaya Inn the Shinsengumi trust us more than before, Hijikata allowed us to leave the compound more often, I myself leave the compound a lot this days since I’m bored as hell staying at their compound sometimes taking Taro out for a ride but of course that was when Chizuru safely returns to the Shinsengumi Headquarters or our rounds were over, I prioritize her safety than mine and I know the Shinsengumi will protect her as well now. We were all in the Meeting Hall now and all of the captains were in a circle Chizuru and I are giving the wounded captains there medicine.
“Here’s your medicine” I said to Sanan he gave me a puzzled look
“Do I have to drink it too? The wound in my left arm has closed” It wasn’t really me who wanted to give him this medicine since I also know that Sanan’s arm is already healed but Hijikata also told me to prepare medicine for him along with Chizuru who gave medicine to Souji and Heisuke.
“…” I looked at Hijikata who just had a stern look on his face Sanan followed suit and looked at him.
“Sanan-san, give it up” Souji told him, consuming the medicine then drinking the cup of sake, he smirked at Souji.
“If it’s the Vice-Commander’s order” he knowingly smiles and picks up the packet
“Isn’t this the one you drank as well Fuyumi-chan?” she asked me
“Yes. It’s pretty effective” I told her
“But is this medication specially prepared?”
“Ishida powder medicine huh?” Harada says drinking sake, I really have no interest in where or what that medicine contains, I however already know of its contents since I already consumed it, it was mainly herbal plants crushed up and powdered “Ishida’s powdered medicine?” he turns to look at Chizuru.
“They make it at Hijikata-san’s house” Souji says glancing at Hijikata I tilt my head
“That’s right!” Heisuke grabbed the packet and waved it around in motion “No matter what cuts, bruises or pain you have, Ishida’s powdered medicine will fix you up right away!” he announces “Drink and you will believe” I quietly chuckle at his actions “I don’t know whether it’s true, but Fuyumi-chan did say it was effective so…” he consumes the packet “Ugh! It’s awful!” Then gags in disgust
