Kihara Fuyumi POV
“…” I fainted once again…I think I’m having a breaking record for the times I’ve been collapsing lately…maybe if I collapse again I’ll die? That would be quicker than this, collapsing after an event is really annoying, you don’t know what’s happening around you, you hear vague voices saying something but you really don’t understand what they’re saying and then after you wake up, the familiar faces all around you looks so worried.
“A week….” There it is a familiar voice but I can’t clarify what there saying.
“Healing…but-“ I want to open my eyes now, but I feel that I’m wiped out
“Exhaustion…different” I want to wake up.
“…” I want to know what’s happening, did I kill Chizuru-chan? “...Mmmm” I felt my eye lids open figures surrounding me.
“She’s awake!” I heard a female voice but it wasn’t the one that I was used to hearing all the time
“You must take extra caution in taking care of her Hime, it isn’t just exhaustion her power and stamina is depleting in a very quick pace, because of the curse mark seal on her waist, natural power must enter her body so that she can recuperate more effectively.” Natural power…I remember the underground spring below the Kihara Manor, the water there was crystal clear you can even see the natural mineral rocks under the water…Okasan always bathes me in that spring…
“Urgh” I felt my head hurt all of a sudden
“Ah! Fuyumi-chan!” I held my head it was pounding like mad…that memory of Okasan bathing me in that spring…why would I remember it now? I feel as though I’m remembering things in my past but something is blocking my memory to remember it “We’ll take care of her Sensei, Thank you”
“Call me anytime Hime” Hime? Wait.
“…” I squinted my eyes to see a blurry figure in front of me
“You should lie down Fuyumi-chan, you aren’t well yet” Her voice sounds like Sen-Hime, I widened my eyes and the figure became clearer
“Sen-Hime?” I jumped surprised “What? Where am I?” I questioned
“You are in Yase Village, Shiranui-san wasted no time in barging inside of the Yase Manor, I quickly called for the doctors, and they quickly attended to your wounds Fuyumi-chan” she explains, I looked down at myself and saw bandages wrapped around my chest and arms “Shiranui-san looked after you for three days then he left you to me saying he still has business to take care of, he was taking good care of you to my actual surprise Fuyumi-chan, Shiranui-san is an arrogant and care free man I don’t know what you did to him to tame him like that” she giggled, I looked away embarrassed “Is Shiranui-san the one who you fancy Fuyumi-chan?” she boldly asked
“…” I was quiet for a moment before answering “I’m not going to lie to you Sen-chan” I said since it was only the two of us “I like him, but not the way that I like my horse Taro” she gave a knowing nod
“So you’re still getting to know him” she says, I nod “Well that’s not a bad thing, I’ve figured you weren’t the type to fall in love at first sight Fuyumi-chan” she says smiling.
“…” I inwardly sighed, I still have my concerns about leaving Chizuru behind but I did made myself clear that if that was her decision I will respect it…my items in the Shinsengumi and Taro…is still there as well…I need to go back and get my belongings.
“You look dejected Fuyumi-chan….you can tell me your troubles...I’ll listen to them” She tells me
“Well” I told her about the items that I left in the Shinsengumi especially Taro, and I need those Items and my horse to get home.
