Longing

Loneliest days of your life? When Rin was in Australia. It was years of texts, calls, lots of video calls and so much longing. What you didn't know? It was the same for Rin. Only a ton lonelier more than you'll ever know. It broke him to leave you the first time around, and what broke him even more is he's away from you, miles and miles out of his reach. The thought saddens him that in order to make it up to you, he stays in touch with you, even if it means he has to stop halfway through his swimming practice just to check up on you. The shark was more than worried. He couldn't stand a day without calling you, without hearing your voice nor seeing your smiling face. It was all the reassurance he needs to keep going, to know that you are doing just fine. "I'm always there," he used to tell you every single time. And he'd point at your heart. Then his. "You're always here." Even if he's apart it felt like he's so close. He even swore that when he noticed something suspicious he'd fly all the way back just to be in your arms. But that was before. He's right by your side now, and he would never leave again.
