Campaign, Made to Order
Barter, Order and newcomer Land,
Full steam ahead with their campaigns
A seat at town hall, the fight neck to neck
Vowing brighter futures for every subject
Gyn volunteered for Marshal Order
Worked with Ray on the banner after hours
Tall and wide, blue ribbons and red,
"Vote and Bring Order to BG" was how it read.
Next, a visit to a house in Tent City
The Red House Girls and the circus of fleas
Home from a tour, Gyn asked them a favor
Would they help Mr. Order be Mayor?
The girls said yes, a unanimous vote
Dance steps, costumes, BG's in for a show
A girl named Christine hummed a tune
Wrote a jingle bound to catch attention
When all's in order, Gyn said goodbye,
When the campaign starts she'd drop by.
She made her way back to the bakery
And saw Will Barter parading garters on the street.
Gyn approached, asked if they were free,
"For the Red House Girls," she said with a grin
He said no, the garters are for comparison
Of the state BG will be in if he won.
Barter ruffled her hair, then walked on
Left her empty handed with a lot of confusion
"Benefits of a satin garter? Are there any?
They just hold up socks, and can be really itchy."
Gyn chuckled and went on to the cafe,
Found Loren about to wrangle AJ
Both stopped as they saw her come in,
AJ asked why she was smiling.
Gyn grinned wide
"Will Barter and his garters,
Dixie Land with her teaberry offers...
With them as competition, I'm very sure,
Mr. Lorne Order will be BG's next Mayor."
