He apologized but I wasn't sure

I shrugged it off and asked about Bruce

And him setting his brother free

I sighed when he yelled to him,

"I'll do so when you bring her back to me."

So life stayed complicated

keeping Bruce in tow

I got supplied

I was nearly set to go.

I made arrangement with Unger

About the Black Diamond Forge

I told him my plan

"It's a big job Lou,

you sure you can afford..."

I cut him off at the pass,

it was best just to be blunt.

"Will that be enough to get started?"

I paid him ½ upfront.

Unger could not believe his eyes

"Yeah, Lou that'll do.

I'll get working on the plans

And get them over to you."

"I'll be out of town for about 3 days

A man with calculating eyes

Holding a bag of groceries

So silent he took me by surprise.
