I'm honoured to have another visit
Just what would you like to hear me say
I've been in this town for some time now
Know what goes on every day
Just let me say, and you can write this down
When I'm elected mayor of this fair town
It'll be the county's jewel in the crown
There'll be schools, and stores and plenty more
I plan having mail delivered to every door
Before you ask just let me say
I know you're wondering how we'll pay
Well that's why Will Barter should be mayor
The right man in the job you know will care
That everyone is treated fair
