Someone (imma call them Steve because squirrels) is going through Strings Attached and commenting which is usually awesome because I love reading comments, even if they're literally just keyboard smashing, but Steve is really testing my patience. They're going out of the way to mention how they disagree with anything they don't like, which isn't just annoying, but it's flat out rude. I don't like Wincest, but you don't see me saying that every time Steve mentions that they ship it.
I had a conversation with someone about our mutual love of Taylor Swift and Steve shows up and said, "Swifties? Ew." Does it look like I'm paraphrasing? Probably, because that would be rude of them, right? But that's exactly what they said.
They also reply to people's comments with "Read my fanfic." It's not even subtly worked in. It's not a request. It's a flat out demand. But I checked out their fanfic and the description alone was riddled with typos and grammatical errors and I just... no? Thank you? I'm good?
And someone had been really sweet a while back and said something about how they loved the book and it was their fifth time reading it and I got the fuzzies and it was so sweet and I told them that and it was great and then Steve stepped in with, "This is too long to read more than once," and I just... That's rude? How would that not be rude? I reread entire series because I like them. I don't think 100k words is too long of a book to reread if it's good, so the fact that this person thought it was good enough to read 5 times was really sweet and heartwarming and it made me really happy and then Steve had to come in like nah bitch it ain't that good and I just... Why? NO ONE ASKED YOUR OPINION, STEVE! LET PEOPLE ENJOY THINGS!
But I'm hoping that they see that the sequel is up to 198 chapters and they're like ah fuck no that's too long fuck this shit because I can't deal with this for 200+ more chapters ughhhh
