I wasn't gonna post anything while I was at Disney (I'm here til Monday morning so if anyone else is hmu) because I have to do it on my iPod and it's a pain but I'm just so happy that I have to share
So if y'all read Standing Together, you probably know Aladdin is Cas's favorite movie, but what you may or may not know is it's his favorite movie because it's my favorite movie, and it has been since I was in middle school.
I've been to Disney every year since I was 8 (because it's the only vacation we ever go on because my family is boring) but I've never actually met Aladdin because my parents refuse to wait in line or let me go off by myself
Well, tonight was the Christmas party at Magic Kingdom, and the line for Aladdin was less than 15 minutes and I was like pfft hell yeah I wanna wait 15 minutes to meet my fav person ever! And since it was a party, it was Aladdin and Abu, not Aladdin and Jasmine, but Jasmine and Genie were coming out in 15 minutes so I had no idea if I was gonna get to see Aladdin or if I'd have to make do with Jasmine and Genie, because my mom wouldn't let me see both and I would die for Aladdin. I managed to get the last pic with Aladdin and Abu before they left and Jasmine and Genie came out.
So Aladdin came over to me the first thing he said to me was "you know, magic carpets are meant for two" and I think my soul ascended to heaven.
And then he was like "clearly whoever said that has never tried to sleep on one" and he went into this long story about how he was taking a nap on the carpet and he accidentally kicked Abu off (and into a sand dune, because he assured me Abu was okay, even though Abu did not seem too happy about this) and that's why Abu wouldn't go on the carpet the first time he picked up Jasmine (but he didn't want Abu there anyway)
But wait, it gets better
Cuz then he said something like, "but don't worry, I wouldn't let you fall,"
AND THEN
THEN HE SAID
ARE YOU READY
HE SAID
"DO YOU TRUST ME?"
THATS MY FAVORITE PART OF THE MOVIE OKAY I HEARD THAT PART IN THE LIVE ACTION MOVIE AND I LITERALLY STARTED CRYING IN THE THEATER OKAY I LOVE THIS PART
AND THEN I MADE A JOKE ABOUT HIM NOT OFFERING ME HIS HAND
AND HE SAID IT AGAIN BUT GAVE ME HIS HAND
AND IVE NEVER BEEN SO HAPPY IN MY LIFE
So it was raining all day and I was a gross mess but here's me and Aladdin and Abu and I love them
