This is the very definition of TMI but I feel compelled to share my misery

So I usually take birth control pills because they basically get rid of the period symptoms. Welp, I haven't been taking them bc I suck, and a couple days ago my side started hurting and I was puking and i was like well fuck, it's period pains. Guess I'lll cry, then. So I kinda suffered through it that night because it only woke me up twice, and I was fine the next day and night, and then the night after that (or morning bc it was like 4 am) it started again and my mom took me to the emergency room and it took six hours to find out that I had a kidney stone, which is apparently so painful that it's one of the few things they prescribe narcotics for (so at least I  wasn't being overdramatic, right?

So they gave me the option to stay at the hospital with an IV for morphine to kill the pain, but I just wanted to get home and drink some lemonade, so I got some painkillers and anti nausea meds and I was like yeah, this is great! So I had to wait an hour or so to get the meds, which was incidently around when the morphine stopped working, so I needed to take said meds, but I couldn't take the pain meds because they make you sick if you don't eat, so I had the anti nausea meds but i was still dying from both pain and nausea so I waited like ten minutes before I had a couple bites of ice cream and then I had the pain killers and like two minutes later I puked them up so I went back to the emergency room and they gave me a new anti nausea med which also helps a lil with the pain and I was fine so i thought life was going great

Except it has a few side effects, so I was super tired and didn't want to open my eyes when my mom said I should take more last night, so I wasn't keeping up with them and I woke up this morning and I was dying again so I took the pill but it didn't do much after an hour so I took the og painkiller and that's the one I'm on now and it apparently makes you super lightheaded so basically I can't focus on much after I take it so I'm already getting lightheaded event though I just took it a few minutes ago and I probably have like ten minutes to go through my Taylor Swift performances folders to organize my extensive collection of Taylor Swift videos until I can barely function as a normal human being so that's my life and basically fuck kidney stones  is the moral of this story
