I just filled out paperwork at Aeropostale, and I officially have a job! I start tomorrow from 10 to 3 (I wonder where I got the title from...) which coincidentally is when my friend Banana works. I'm doing training tomorrow and Banana got promoted to head cashier dude which means she'll be at the register and maybe she'll be the one to train me (we can hope)
But apparently there used to be 4 managers, but three of them have left in the last few weeks, so the only manager left has been there for a month and I'm just like oof this is rough.
My friends told me everyone (managers and staff) are leaving because they have the new manager, but Manager Dude says the managers are leaving because there's basically no one working now and they couldn't handle it or something. There's currently, including both me and the manager, ten people working in the store. They've lost so many people lately, and Black Friday is just a few weeks away. They're going to need all the help they can get. Plus people are going to be Christmas shopping for the next two months, so I'm sure it's going to be busy af.
The only real downside to this is I wanted to reread the book I have to present tomorrow, but between work and dance, I don't think I'll have time. I'm presenting it on Wednesday (because tomorrow's election day and we don't have school), and I'm not emotionally prepared halppp
But Flower Guy said he'd print out signs that say confident on them and hold them up while I'm presenting so it's all good lol
