That was unexpected

As I walk into Laface for a few hours I can't stop thinking about the kiss that Kenny and I shared, this morning in the meeting I caught him a few times starring at me but quickly snapped back into his conversation with the staff. Now he's in the studio with Janet and L.A.  I don't want to but I have to ask if anyone needs coffee, water or juice I don't want Janet to suspect what could or could not be going on between us.

Nicole: Good Morning everyone does any one need anything from Starbucks or the bistro next to it?

Babyface: Yes I will take a coffee with extra Carmel and extra ginseng and a bacon and eggs croissant from next door please

L.A: I will take a black coffee with 2 sugars and 2 sweet creams and the same sandwich as Kenny please

Janet: No coffee for me I will take a vegetarian breakfast sandwich and a apple juice

Nicole: Ok got it!

Babyface: Here Nikki use my Amex card for everything

Nicole: Ok thanks { giving him a smile living}

Janet: Ummm Kenny what's up with that?

Babyface: Jan what are you talking about?

Janet: I seen the way she looked at you when you have her your card

Babyface:Its nothing

Janet: It didn't seem like nothing to me

L.A: Jan baby let it go

Janet: No she like him

Babyface: Jan she's married and you know this already matter of fact Keri will be here later to take her to lunch

Janet: She better be { taking a sip of her tea}

Nicole: Ok everybody I'm back with your orders and here you go Kenny with your card and receipt

Babyface: Thank You can I see you in my office for a sec please

Nicole: Yea sure, enjoy everyone

{As she walks with Kenny to his office Janet watches}

{ As Kenny closes the door behind him}

Nicole: Yes you wanted to speak to me Kenny

Babyface: Janet is thinking that we a sleeping together

Nicole: Yea I got that vibe when I came back,so what did you tell her ?

Babyface: I told her that you were married and that nothing is going on

Nicole: Good cause I don't need the drama right now

Babyface: Btw Keri will be here to take you to lunch at 12 since he's coming to finish up his last track today.

Nicole: Oh ok great { she mumbles}

Babyface: Nicole what's wrong?

Nicole:Its nothing we kind of got into an argument last night

Babyface: About what?

Nicole: Our marriage we haven't been on the same page lately and he thinks we should separate for a while or get a divorce

Babyface: Oh I'm sorry to hear that, I didn't know you look so happy

Nicole: Yea we were happy of the idea of how we looked on the outside but behind closed doors we were not so happy
