A/N - attached the dance.

____________

Scott held his breath as Mitch and Jessica started to move on stage. Mitch had been disappearing into the rec room they’d turned into a dance room for hours and had refused to let Scott see anything he’d come up with. Then he’d disappeared to the studio for days, still refusing to show him anything.

Now he knew why.

This was their dance. This was a dance that showed THEIR connection and their story. He assumed he’d chosen Jessica and not Kirstie simply for the fact that she was blonde and blue eyed, just like himself.

The dance was beautiful, emotional and he couldn’t have been more in awe of the man he called his own. No matter what happened between them, he would always have a tiny bit of fangirl inside of him. Mitch would always be his dance idol and this was the reason why.

He knew tears were sliding down his cheeks as the dance came to an end. No one else would understand, it wasn’t obvious, but Scott knew and when those sparkling eyes met his own, he couldn’t help but mouth, “I love you.”

Mitch’s smile was everything and he mouthed back, “Always.”

_____

“Was that Zac’s car I saw leaving!?”

“Yeah. He came by to tell me he’s asking Vanessa to move in with him” He informed the two as he took the grocery bags from a grateful Kirstie.

“She is one lucky female is all I have to say.” Kirstie stated as she started to help put the groceries away.

“I’m happy for him. I think it’s a good thing. They seem cute together.” Mitch added setting his bags on the counter. “I know you think he’s playing house, or whatever, but he seems to really care about her.

Scott shook his head with a half smile and wrapped his arms around Mitch's waist from behind. Mitch grinned and leaned back into the other body.

“I just want him to be happy, like us.” Scott kissed his neck and Mitch could think of nothing else but those lips on his skin.

“Guys… groceries…” Kirst held up a can of peas. “They won’t put themselves away.”

Scott laughed and released Mitch with one last kiss to his cheek and moved to the bags to help Kirstie.

“Do you ever wonder what it would have been like if you’d have stayed with uber delicious actor guy, Scooter?”

Kirstie didn’t see the problem with the question she’d asked, but Mitch froze for the millisecond before Scott answered.

“No. I’m right where I belong. I don’t need to wonder what if anything. I would never be happier anywhere else but right here.”

Mitch couldn’t help but bite his lower lip with a grin over his shoulder as he reached up to put the cereal in the cabinet.

“God, you are so cheesy sometimes.” Kirstie opened up a Pringles can and helped herself to one.

“Yeah well, you still love me.”

“Yeah” she shrugged a bit. “I guess…”

“You LOVE me.”

“Ew. Shut up”

“You want in my pants!”

“DREAM on, Beanstalk!”

“You know you want me…”

“ACTUALLY you want ME!”

“GAG ME!” Mitch called from behind the refrigerator door where he was putting away the milk and orange juice.

A Pringles chip sailed over the fridge door and landed at his feet.

“HEY, no throwing food!” Scott laughed as one was sent his way and he reached for the stale box of fruit loops he was supposed to throw away and pegged her right in the nose with one of the colorful circles.

Wyatt cleaned up the mess happily as an all out war began.

It was all just a normal day for Kirscomiche.
