IVY TRAN loathed the Northside, she'd even go as far to say she'd watch it burn to the ground without remorse. After her cousin's murder, the police department did nothing, ruling it off as another Serpent killing. Which was ridiculous, because at such a young age she even knew they couldn't hurt their own. But she hated the North Side for more than just her cousin's murder.
Things were always at a boiling point for the Serpents, between the Ghoulies, the Northside, and all around life. Now, where the teens of the gang resided, was sold and they were being sent to Riverdale High School. She hated the idea, she'd spend another year at that drug-filled school then go to the "perfect" Northsider one. But, Jughead assured her it was fine, while Toni told her to shut it and stop picking fights before they got kicked out, because the older girl enjoyed proper education.
She, naturally, clashed with everyone. But, one in particular just made her blood boil to the point she would go to jail just to teach them a lesson. Cheryl "Bombshell" Blossom.
But, unfortunately for the two of them, they had many things in common. And also shared their stubbornness and willingness to pick fights.

EXTRAS.
→ ivy is very proud to be a serpent and does not feel ashamed for it. she's defensive of the serpents, so when cheryl and many others insult the serpents, ivy is ready (and does) throw hands. she, also, is not eager to rid herself of her jacket, and only does so when jughead tells her to.
→ she thinks cheryl is a total bitch who needs to get her "ass of her shoulders." she doesn't bow down to the whole "cheryl bombshell" thing, she just gives a middle finger.
→ if you carried onto when fp becomes sheriff, he would certainly make his first thing of business be proving that her cousin's death was done by a ghoulie rather than a serpent.
