TIMELINE → Captain America: The Winter Soldier - Post CA:TWS
EMORI KLINE worked at a hospital, a job that had its ups and down. Her job was typical, boring almost, the typical ten-hour shift.
That is, until a group of people shows up who rocked her world entirely. The Black Widow, Captain America, and some strange, eye-patch wearing man who was bleeding out entirely.
That was a surprise, to say the least. But, when he came in, Emori knew the situation was dire. Somehow, she knew it wasn't too dire, that the man would live. But, two minutes later, the man flatlined, leaving teary-eyed people in its wake outside the operation window.
But, she saw the man leave - after he was supposed to be dead. Shellshocked, she followed him, thinking she had an out-of-body experience where she saw the man's fleeing ghost.
She just didn't know he was waiting to catch the woman before she could say a word.
