KARINA ALFSON had to be perfect. She came from a prestigious Pureblood family, one that had been around as long as anyone had known of. When her family moved from Russia to England for her father's work for the Ministry on studies of ancient spells, Karina knew the pressure would be increased once her years at Hogwarts started.
She had been right. Her sister adjusted perfectly, switching from the curriculum of Durmstang to Hogwarts' in no time flat, while Karina was left squandering, wondering why everything seemed too docile from what she'd learned as a child from her relatives. The pressure was crushing, suffocating her until all she could possibly fathom was her having the highest marks in her year and the nice letters her parents received at the end of every year.
When her Third year started, Karina was off to a bright start, confident in her abilities to excel. When Durmstang came for the Triwizard Tournament, Karina remained confident, unwavering as her prying relatives dissected her life like vultures in for their piece. She was perfect and would remain so.
Karina had, until she receives a letter, saying that 'blue feather' knew what her family was. Confused, Karina enlisted the help of Luna Lovegood, the local conspiracy theory enthusiast, to decode the anonymous letter. Unknowingly, the two launched themselves into a duality of the decoding of the mystery that was the Alfson Dynasty.
All had been going well, until Karina recited word-for-word the prophecy that only few had heard of. The one that predicted the fate of the worst villain in Wizarding history. And the horrifying part was that it still didn't explain the mystery of the blue feather.

→ Karina's family has been around for as long as the Wizarding World can remember. Older than the Malfoys, Potters, everything. That's the thing with everything, is no one knows where they came from. And no one ever thought about it until 'blue feather' shows up, and Karina realizes they should know something about where they came from.
→ Karina isn't openly gay nor will she be. She's closeted and terrified of coming out due to her family, since she has to be "perfect," which doubles as being perfectly straight and marrying well. Her sister fits that, Karina doesn't, since she has made no moves to date anyone due to the fact.
→ Karina's ancestors weren't wizarding kind, they were Seers, all six of them, meaning the entirety of her family has the probability to be a Seer. That's why her family is called the "Alfson Dynasty," because they're extremely powerful. 'Blue feather' is a Voldemort-worshiper at Hogwarts, who knows that the Alfsons are going to be the main target.
→ Whether Karina and Luna date, agree not to, whatever, is up to you. But don't make Karina come out or I swear to god!! Part of Karina's character is that she wouldn't come out, based on the fact it's quite literally dangerous and possibly deadly for her.
