WALLY WEST wasn't sure how it happened. One moment, he was running as fast as he could, for reasons that might not have had to do with the fact he was about to miss the deadline for a store halfway across the country, and then he was face first into a building. A large building, one that seemed to be a form of a compound.

Wanda was doing nothing, watching the birds fly outside when a bolt of lightning struck, a red-haired man streaking into the reinforced glass mere seconds later. She was confused, alarmed, and three seconds away from flinging something at him. But she held it back, called the others that still resided in the compound, and prepared for a fight that wouldn't last long.

Natasha said that the man wasn't lying, and he was somehow a speedster from another universe with heroes just like them, except with a darker tint.

Sparks flew, and not the ones from Wanda's hands. But, when tensions began to rise between the Avengers, and one of Steve's old friends appeared, he had to choose the one thing that he always dreaded.

He had to pick his friends, who he loved, or the people who held all the power.

EXTRA.

→ wally has tried to return to his world, but it's never seemed to work. truthfully, when it happened, he was just messing around and seeing how fast he could truly go if he pushed himself past his limits. he's tried to get back, and while he still does have lots of power, he hasn't been able to build up enough energy.

→ the last part is very important, because those are three big things in wally's life. he's always had to choose friends, who he loved, and those above him, so this is a horrible decision for him
