JEV BISHOP had grown up in dozens of homes, none lasting for too long. She'd always been the troubled child, the one that got too agitated too quickly, the one who no one wanted to take a chance on. After an accident in a past home, the reality of why Jev was the way she was came full-force: she was a werewolf, one who had just been turned after the death of her foster father.
For the most part, Jev navigated her life as a werewolf well. She did her best to keep to herself, to not cause any trouble amongst the supernatural. Up until the age of eighteen, that had went well, before a run-in with a vampire in a small Virginian town left Jev with note in her pocket containing the number of the youngest Salvatore brother.
Jev never expected to get a call from Stefan, nor need to contact him for the "dire emergency." She lived for five more years before that day came, the day where her phone rang and Stefan said the unlikeness of him needing help had struck. With no more standing ties, Jev left for Mystic Falls, expecting the "big bad" to be yet another roguish vampire with a vengeance on the Salvatore brothers.
Except Jev found a teenager doppelganger of a woman out of time, the one who was supposed to break the curse of Klaus Mikaelson. With a stone in her heart, the truth of the situation came forward: Jev would have to do what was right, or choose the man she used to love.

→ Jev and Klaus dated for three years and broke up a month before Jev left for Mystic Falls. She knew his family (of what she could have), and the two were incredibly close. Which is why Jev can't find it in herself to hate him, because she still has feelings for him, but above all, she understands exactly why he's doing what he's doing.
→ They broke up because Klaus caught wind of Elena existing and didn't know how Jev would react, so in typical Klaus fashion, he cut ties and disappeared. Jev did search for him, and still was by the time Stefan called.
→ Whether or not they get back together is up to you, but there's definitely still feelings there on both sides. They still love each other, but it's a complicated situation for both, too.
