THE TWO had double lives. She, as a stand-alone vigilante, with metahuman abilities from her mother, living with her aunt. While he was the infamous Robin, or rather the third Robin, living a lonely life with a never-ending consequence.
She found his identity out rather quickly, it wasn't too hard if you had common sense and realized one person in Gotham City had a connection to the same amount of young men as Batman. With the bills racking up, Blaire had to do something, her aunt's job and her own minimum wage one weren't covering it anymore.
And it hit her. She knew who the entire line of the "Bat Dynasty" were, leaving her with immense leverage. Quickly, she resulted to blackmail, demanding money from the billionaire himself. It was a fool proof plan, she worked out every piece - and even if the wanted to, they couldn't complain, it wasn't just their names on the lines, it was members of the Justice League's, too. Everything was perfect, even enjoyable as the fridge was full and the Bats nearly lost their mind.
It was all fun and games until the tables turned and Tim found out her identity.

→ blaire lives with her aunt, because her mother was a hero by the name of shockwave, who "mysteriously died" when blaire was twelve. in reality, her mother was killed in action, but the jl didn't release the information on the matter. when she was fourteen, she became aftermath. that's how she knows some of the jl's identities, due to her mother. (she lived in central city with her mother before she moved to gotham, which adds to why no one knows exactly who she'd be!)
→ tim and blaire DO NOT know each other! you can make them know each other after things start to kick into play, but they've never met before. blaire does not go to gotham academy because 1) it's hella expensive and 2) she couldn't get a scholarship there
→ blaire's abilities are like her mother's, but slightly different. her mother's was electricity, but she drew from the electricity around her and "needed fuel" from it. blaire, however, draws from herself, like a core of energy, and doesn't run low. though, if there's electricity around her, she is more powerful!
