KACE GREYMON's family were well-known mobsters. He came from a long line, and it certainly didn't stop with his patch of Greymon family.
His parents moved to Riverdale, or rather moved him there, to give him a somewhat normal life and education outside of where people knew him as the "mob kid." When the Lodges came to town, they were unknowing to who lied in the town, and the great bear they were creeping up on.
Kace didn't dwell on that as much as he could. Hiram Lodge wasn't there, currently, just his wife and daughter, who didn't seem to pose a threat in the slightest way. Besides, Kevin Keller and himself had been playing a game of side-eying and making very suggestive glances, and Kace was more focused on that then life-threatening situations.
As things between him and Kevin evolved from making out in the back of his car, the sleeping bear roared to life when Hiram Lodge came back to town, sporting a mischevious glint that Kace recognized through his gleaming, kind smile.
Kace assured his parents that he could handle Hiram, that there was no need to worry.
But Hiram always was the type to play dirty with no mercy, meaning quickly, unbeknownst to the victim, Kevin became a threat in Hiram's plan.
Kace hadn't ever negotiated for people he truly cared about, and the ball no longer seemed to be in his court.
